2 AM Hair Salon

I’ve been coming here for 6 years and honestly I would make the 2 hour MTA trip to go here. I have thin Asian hair and I think they know my hair best. I go for a different stylist every time but I don’t really have a go-to. I understand Cantonese but I can’t speak that much which honestly can get me by when getting my hair washed cut and dry here. I paid 38 plus tip which was 5 to the stylist who cut and styled my hair and then 2 to the woman who washed my hair. This became a total of $45. This isn’t bad at all since some places in the city can get up to $150. I really enjoy coming here and it feels like home sometimes because of the Cantonese.

My guy took an hour to give me a haircut which was longer than what I’m used to but really appreciated it

The quoted price was vastly different from the actual bill; it's practically a scam.

I recently got my hair permed and dyed here. I went this Friday and showed him an inspo picture, my hair turned out nothing like the picture: he cut my hair more than I asked him to, the curls were too tight, and the color was wrong. I ended up leaving the salon looking 30 years older (like I was 60) and regret coming here to get it done. I desired a wavier type curl and he gave me a really curly one. The color I was supposed to dye my hair was more of a dark red/purple yet it came up brighter red.

Don't take your risk going there! I went there yesterday and they messed up my hair. The guy who's washing my hair telling me my hairs are dry and dead and recommended me to buy conditioner from them. And the guy who cuts my said that I have a very nice hair just like those on commercials. After the haircut he curled my hair and made me looked like an old crazy grandma and I'm only in my 20s. I had a straight and long hair before I went there to have a haircut and now they look like they got eaten by some sort of animals. I'm so disappointed and it really irritates me every time I look at my hairs. I don't care the person who gave me the hair cut is new or not, he shouldn't be a barber. And whichever salon hired those kind of people is hurting their reputations and business. I don't recommend going there but if you want people to laugh at you and embarrass yourself with a funny looking hair go ahead.
