2400 Sat Learning Center

The math teacher is so nice. He taught me a lot of math skills so that I can get full credit on the math section. I am so glad that I had been here for 2 years to study SAT exam.

The English teacher here is very patient. He teaches me lots of analysis skills in Reading part. The math teacher helps me conclude the test skills in math and grammar. He encourages me to ask questions so that I am not afraid of speaking out my problems. The atmosphere is really good for study, and I can concentrate very well. My SAT score improved a lot after I studied here. I want to thank the teachers very much!

I hate going to tutoring/prep and I am always forced to by my parents, but 2400 SAT Center has really benefited me; I look forward to it actually. Mr. Zhang (math teacher) and Eli (English teacher) have helped me with my SAT scores and they have increased by 300-400 points. The teachers here actually know what they're doing and have so much insight into the SAT. Mr. Zhang might be strict and fast-paced at first, but he is an amazing teacher and actually cares about his students; he always notices if you're struggling and does everything he can to help you. Eli is really nice and he makes class fun; I never learn anything from other SAT English prep classes, but I have learned a lot in his. I am also usually pretty quiet, but they're both so welcoming and encouraging, which has led me to participate and ask a lot of questions in class. Overall, I highly recommend taking SAT classes from here; it's definitely worth the money.

Mr. Zhang has been my teacher since I was in fourth grade. He helped me get into the CTY summer program, and he also helped me get through the ISEE test (the lower and upper level), SHSAT (I got into Stuy), SAT (over 1500), and the Math SAT II (800). I would not be where I am today had it not been for his help. Even when I couldn't understand the simplest concept, he has never given up on me. At first, Mr. Zhang can seem intimidating, but once you've been in his class for awhile you see that he really does want you to do the best you possibly can (if you're lucky, he might crack a joke in front of you or you might even earn some money). The key is doing the homework, no matter what. If you work hard, he'll work hard for you in return. He also knows the SAT extremely well. He knows which types of questions are the most common on the test, and how often they'll appear on the test. He always teaches the most efficient way to solve the problems, which saves a lot of time when you take the actual test. Mr. Ari has been my teacher since I was in fifth grade. He also helped me get into CTY, and he helped me with the SHSAT and SAT. He was always willing to go over questions that I was unsure about and was always willing to argue with me if I thought that a specific question's answer was wrong. I could not have gotten a good English score without his help. (For the Chemistry SAT II, ask for James. He basically had to teach me everything I had to know for that test from scratch, and he did it successfully!) Overall, this place is the secret to success, and you won't find better tutors anywhere.

I don't recommend going here unless you basically know everything about the SAT. I only went to the Saturday SAT classes but it was a terrible experience for me. Im giving this 2 stars for Mr.Ari because he actually attempted to get to build a relationship with his students and went at a slower pace than the math teacher. I didn't remember his name because he never tried to get to know us and im still surprised he even knew my name in class. The only time he made small talk with students was to his "better students" The ones who got good grades from the homework which was a full SAT exam. Everything was so rushed when we went over the math questions we did for homework that i barely remember the things we learned in the class. I took notes but when i looked back at them i didnt even remember learning it. What ever we dont finish in class he gives it to us to take home to do (he never checks it anyway).Hes always so upset when the students dont ask questions but the reason why i didnt was because he was so intimidating that i didnt want to feel dumber by asking him all these questions and that i didnt want to waste more time when everything was already rushed. There are better places that teach at a slower pace where you can actually learn things.
