698 Cafe 新東溢豐

I came here on a Monday at almost midnight for some late night grub, also because 39 Princes was somehow still crowded at the time. That said, I'm glad I got the chance to try this place instead; no one else was there at the time and I was overall satisfied with my experience in the end. I ordered my usual, beef chow fun with no veggies, which took about 10 minutes to arrive and came out very well. The food was very hot due to how fresh it was, and the noodles had that slight charred-crispiness due to the stir frying which I always enjoy. To cap off my dinner I ordered 2 "balls" of chocolate ice cream to-go ($5 each), thinking they were just going to be a couple of small scoops, but they came in containers that definitely looked more like 1.5 to 2 scoops each. On top of that, the ice cream was slightly crispy with each bite, as if they mixed in a bunch of shaved ice; I really enjoyed it. With these details and the satisfactory service in mind, I'd say this is a very viable option for late night eats if anyone is looking

The food is delicious, the decor is beautiful, the background music is soft and relaxing, the waitress who served our table was enthusiastic and professional. We spent a good quality of family time here. Will definitely come back soon

Hey, I just wanted to let you know that the seafood at Xindongyifeng is super fresh. I highly recommend the lobster fried rice—it’s really delicious. The sweet shrimp is also a must-try, and the scallion stir-fried clams are amazing. As for the platter, I don’t think it’s necessary. You can get just as much variety with the individual dishes.

This was my first time attending a luncheon at the 698 Cafe hosted by my local church in Flushing. I was impressed by the exceptional service and quality of the food. They served us at least 13 glorious dishes each with its unique taste. Our feast started with Roast Duck, Preserved Eggs, and Crabmeat with Fish Maw Soup. Then followed by Lobster (omg, it was so delicious that we nearly finished it before taking a picture :-), Boiled Shrimp, Fish Filet with Spicy Sauce, Lamp Chops, Angus Beef with Asparagus, Crispy Fried Chicken, Spare Ribs, Steamed Sea Bass, Vancouver Crab with Glutinous Rice, and Water Spinach with Bean Curd. I look forward to trying their dinner dishes very soon. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Another good location for steam king crab legs. The chief did a phenomenal job on this crab. However, the fried rice from the crab needs a lot of work. Maybe do a steamed egg next time instead of the fried rice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The decoration is very pretty. Would try them again in the future.
