Parking is definitely a challenge in this area, but you can always head to the municipal lot nearby if street parking becomes a battle. This is my go to spot for Thai tea and my sweet fix. Food is delicious and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is cozy, there isn't any where to sit inside but there usually is sitting in the atrium. Definitely recommend checking this bakery out.

This Taiwanese bakery was a favorite growing up on the west coast and I love how there's one in Flushing. Located in Tangram mall, it's the perfect spot to grab a quick bite (or a snack for later!). You can enjoy your breads and pastries at upstairs at their tables, in the mall food court, or in the comfort of your own home. They have a good selection of sweet and savory pastries here, at an affordable price. I love their egg tarts and their pork sung bun, but all of them are good! A great, reliable bakery with always fresh, fluffy pastries. (Oh! And their drinks are also always the perfect pair with their breads!)

I enjoy coming to 85°C in Flushing for a cup of coffee—the drinks are consistently good, and it's a convenient spot to relax. However, the staff training could really use improvement. The baristas often look visibly unhappy while preparing drinks, which makes the experience feel less welcoming. Also, when I place orders online, the in-store team often seems unaware of them, and they have to go to the front to remind them or hand over the order slip myself. I hope the management can work on smoother coordination and more friendly service—it would make a big difference
