Recommended by a friend, I came to experience it today. First of all, the room was very clean. The masseuse was also very nice. She helped me solve the shoulder pain problem and used hot stones. It was more relaxing and comfortable. I will come again in the future

This was the closest massage service near my place so decided to check it out since I was in need of one after being sick for the past couple of days. The spa is located on the 3rd floor and there’s private rooms with curtains instead of doors. I was able to make a same day appointment to get the 60 min massage for $60 (which ended up being $64 when paid with cc). Overall, the massage was good but was a bit hard to relax given the staff was in and out of the room the entire time to pick up the phone, translate, answer her coworkers, and greet customers (aside from going out to get the hot stones and towel), and when customers are waiting, I can hear their conversation which the staffs should inform them not to as it’s disturbing. Also didn’t like how I can feel the staff’s nails at times which may indicate poor technique. I’d like to give them another try since it’s close to my place; hopefully it’ll be a better experience next time.

I used to go very frequently around 2018-2022 when I lived in NY. I had a favorite older masseuse and the massages were perfect. Recently I returned twice while visiting the U.S. for work. The massage was not bad but it wasn’t the same caliber as before. I had a younger masseuse who was not bad, but shockingly I could feel her nails in my sides and it was really painful. I’m not sure if it’s a technique issue or if she just had really long nails, but I’ve never experienced this before in a massage. The place is also doing hot stones now, which is a nice addition to the standard massage, but they’re WAY TOO HOT. The hot stones shouldn’t be at boiling temperature. I felt like my skin was burning. The towels should also be at warm but not scalding hot temperature. I think the price is good and I will give it another try when I’m back in NY, but there could be better consistency of the masseuses. I really miss the ladies I used to have but understand high turnover of these places.

On the phone they say it's 65 dollars for an hour. When you rent to pay with credit card it jumps to 70. They don't even bother to warn up the ice cold oil (in January!). I was literally shivering in cold. The therapist seemed exhausted and impatient, carelessly slamming my arms onto the mattress without any care. Then when the receptionist asked how much I'd like to tip, she didn't seem to like the amount and started demanding a 20% tip at least. Saying that much of the money goes to "the house" and "the government" and that this is a hard job. I mean, wait till you hear about software engineering 🤷‍♂️ By the way, I’ve no idea where they took the photos on here. The room and interior didn’t look even remotely similar to the photos.
