I’ve been coming to this nail salon for about three months now, and my experience has been consistently wonderful. Joyce, the owner, is incredibly talented—especially when it comes to nail art. Every design I’ve asked for has turned out beautifully, and she’s always open to creative ideas. What I really appreciate is how transparent she is about pricing. She clearly breaks down the rates and explains the process, so you always know what to expect. She’s also very experienced and honest—if she thinks a certain design won’t work or suggests a better alternative, you can trust her judgment. I genuinely look forward to my appointments and to seeing what creative design Joyce and I will come up with next.

Joyce definitely kill this set! I had been here once before like 3-4 months ago and had a great experience so I had to come back. I didn’t expect it but she even remembered me from last time. She was so meticulous and was very patient. I get gel-x quite often and this is the first time someone has took the time to shape the extension to my nail shape. She stressed how important the base was to having good retention and results. She showed me different colors and made sure I was happy with every little thing. She definitely recreated my inspo pic and even made it better by showing me different bow designs she could do. She was very careful and made sure every French design was clean and uniform. Joyce really knows what she’s doing and really cares about your experience. Will definitely be coming back. I was told to make an appointment next time because they do get busy.

This was my third time doing my nails at 88 Spring nail salon the first two times I had Sindy , which did very good nails and art. The third time I got Joyce. She was very hospitable kind and articulate. I love the color and the work she did on my nails. The salon is a very Zen and relaxing ambience, especially after work. everyone in their staff is helpful and a team. They were very accommodating with the time that I was able to attend during the week. I recommend the salon if you want to be relaxed and Peaceful after A long day or week! I look forward to my follow up appointments!

Update: After I posted my review, the owner called me and came to question me, accusing me of “lying” about my experience. For clarification: I never said they forced me to come back — what I said was accurate. When I contacted them for help, instead of taking responsibility, they repeatedly suggested that the“solution” was for me to redo my nails with powder gel or UV gel. Their way of saying it really made me feel like what they ultimately wanted was for me to come back and spend more money on services — but again, I never said they forced me to do so. This seems to be exactly why the owner called me and spoke to me so harshly, which I find completely unreasonable. Everything I am dealing with right now is something I truly shouldn’t have to go through. The problem is, my nails didn’t just chip. They broke in the middle of the nail, where it’s still attached to the skin, which is painful and dangerous. That means I have to wait weeks for them to grow out and heal, not just “cut them short and move on.” Instead of showing concern or professionalism, the owner chose to argue with me over wording rather than addressing the actual issue. This whole experience has genuinely affected my daily life — it has been painful, stressful, and something I should never have had to deal with in the first place. I stand by everything I said. My nails were damaged, and the way this was handled — especially during my communication with them — was stressful, and completely unprofessional. I am sharing this so others can be aware and make an informed decision. —————————————————————— This has been one of the worst nail experiences I’ve ever had. The first nail broke less than a week after I got them done — and not just chipped, but actually broke in the middle where it’s still attached to the skin, which is painful and dangerous. Today I realized it wasn’t just that one nail. Six out of ten nails have the exact same issue. What makes this worse is that the nail tech even applied a “nail strengthener/gel builder” on top of my nails, which clearly did absolutely nothing. When I called the salon, the owner blamed me and said it was because I “don’t use my hands correctly,” and claimed it had nothing to do with their work. Instead of acknowledging the problem, they just tried to push me to come back and pay again to redo them with powder gel or UV gel. I’ve done gel manicures for years and I’ve never had anything like this happen, especially not this quickly. This is beyond disappointing — it’s unprofessional and feels like they only care about selling more services instead of taking responsibility. It’s winter now, and because my nails were so damaged, I had no choice but to cut all of them short to prevent more breakage. Just sharing my experience so others know what they might be dealing with before coming here.

I’ve been a customer here for about a year, and the service was very good in the beginning. Unfortunately, over the past two months, the quality has declined. This has been disappointing after a year of consistent visits. At my previous visit, I didn’t receive the design I requested, and the situation was handled in a way that felt like the responsibility was placed on me rather than the issue being acknowledged. Now, less than two weeks later, the nail color is already peeling and lifting. This was a hard gel manicure with UV, which is not supposed to peel. Given the $120 price, the result is very disappointing. Prices have gone up, but the quality and customer service have clearly declined. Instead of improving, they choose to blame the client. I won’t be returning.
