A Mart 大華興超市

Great asian supermarket, my understanding is that it used to be owned by Koreans, and it was bought by Chinese people. Well, it definitely has improved, the store is larger, which is very clean, and it has a huge inventory, from fresh vegetables to life seafood and all in between. Even the staff is friendlier, and some speak English, which is very refreshing . Most Asian markets seem to only hire Asians with no or very little knowledge of the English language. It appears like the prices were also better than with the previous ownership. Will definitely return.

Clean, good collection, have live fish, competitive price

Good Asian grocery for the area. Store is kept clean, organized, bright, and spacious. Most shelves are stocked with merchandise. Although, they no longer sell some items I've used to get from here, which were not available at other Asian groceries. For some reason though, the entire store does feel cold while shopping. Some staff are available at certain departments (meat, seafood, customer service, etc) to help, but there are very few other help available within the other aisles. Cashiers are efficient and good, and some are very helpful. Prices are competitive and comparable to other Asian markets and other grocery stores nearby. Lots of specialty merchandise are available. Parking lot is ok, but is poorly lit in the nighttime (along the side of the auto dealership). Getting a parking spot can be a challenge sometimes, which can vary on the day and time. Some parking spaces become flooded when it rains heavily and makes it difficult for patrons to utilize. I primarily visit here to shop at the cafe/bubble tea shop located inside the grocery.

I bought dumpling wrappers from the store an hour ago. I didn’t take the receipt, and when I went back to show the cashier and the manager that the dumpling wrappers were damaged, they completely ignored the issue. They said that without a receipt they couldn’t even listen to my complaint. This is the worst customer service. They sell spoiled food and don’t care about regular customers at all. It’s the worst place to shop, and they show zero care for their customers.

Such a disgusting market. They have rotten, molding, and expired items. Not to mention unsanitary conditions. I'm never coming back. It's ridiculous how employees (especially those handling meat and seafood) use the bathroom and don't wash their hands nor take off their gloves to go to the bathroom.
