My experience with A plus Studio has been nothing but pleasant. They have the best connection with different types of vendors, especially for a Chinese wedding. They are so experienced, I didn’t have to worry about a single details. They have a beautiful collection of wedding dresses, evening gowns, bridesmaids dresses, and much more. What’s more amazing is their staffs. Jenny and Tiffany are so sweet, they make sure everything went smoothly with planning and got things done from start to finish. Ivy has been a champion every fittings to make sure we all look amazing in our outfits. Crystal and Luis are my MVPs, coming through with the beautiful makeup and magazine ready photos. We have Anthony to thank for our beautiful guest books, photo book, rundowns, and much more. Of course we can’t leave out our videographer Bao with the breath taking shots, our MC Andy and DJ who brought our wedding to life, and all the other staffs that helped made our wedding turned out so fabulous. 100% would recommend to anyone who is looking for a wedding studio that can give you everything.

Please read for an accurate review of A Plus studio on 86th St!! A Plus had exceeded my expectations as my wedding studio for our wedding day (11.30.25) and days leading up to it. I am Filipina, now married into a Chinese family, and was able to communicate well with Jenny and Tiffany on the details of our wedding package we chose and everything that it includes. They were always very responsive through text whenever we had questions. This studio is definitely an experienced, well-oiled machine. There is a wide range of amazing wedding dresses and gorgeous qipaos. The studio is huge and so well organized. I would just love to spotlight a few people who really made us know we had made the right decision choosing APlus. Crystal, my hair & make up artist: I absolutely love Crystal. I had first experienced her talent when we did our Pre-wedding Photoshoot and I adored my look so much I immediately asked her to be my h&mu artist for the Wedding day. She followed me around for my whole wedding day starting at 5:30am until 10pm. On that day, she was SO attentive, SO quick, SO dedicated to making sure I looked good, felt good, and was on time for everything. I was able to have 4 completely different and beautiful looks that day because of her. I can't thank her enough for all the effort she had put in for me. Jacky, our photographer: I have never experienced a professional photoshoot before and moving forward I don't think I want to experience it with any other photographer than Jacky. Jacky is so calm, bubbly, and professional. He gives a new pose for each photo and chooses the best background. He listens with attentiveness and whatever photo I asked for him to take, he was quick to say yes and set up the framing. On our wedding day, he worked with Luis, our awesome videographer, who made sure we captured every single moment we wanted. Ivy, our tailor: Ivy made sure all our dresses fit us perfectly! And she is quick with her needle! I was able to get a last minute change in between my ceremony and banquet since my original wedding dress became dirty from the rain. She chose a new dress for me based off my measurements and made the needed adjustments in the less than an hour I had before our banquet. She also took care of my mother and mother-in-law for their two dresses each, making sure they felt the most comfortable in their outfits. Jenny, Tiffany, Anthony, and the whole team including the make up artists (Nina, Jennifer, Yuki, Meiling, and Tina) who took care of all 7 of my bridesmaids - Thank you so much for a lovely experience for our most perfect day. 5 STARS all around!

Our experience with A Plus Studio was such truly wonderful and amazing. Jenny and Tiffany were so sweet and helpful every step of the way from getting us started with the pre-wedding shoot to walking us through the wedding package . They were always so attentive and responsive through text and in person visits making the wedding planning process much easier than we expected. Crystal was our delightful makeup artist for the pre-wedding photoshoot and for the wedding day. She is so talented, caring, attentive and knew exactly how I wanted my hairstyle and makeup to look when I showed her examples. I love all the bridal looks she created for me. Ivy, our tailor, was very professional and quick with all our dress fittings as well as the ones for our bridemaids, groomsmens and mothers. She was able to access what dress style would work for my body type making picking out dress much more fun. Johnny, our MC, was so amazing to work with. Before our wedding he had a phone call with us to discuss how we want our reception to be. He's brought great energy to our wedding and fluent in both English and Cantonese. We liked how he adapted to our crowd and even gave suggestions to our wedding game idea. Our photographers Jacky (for pre-wedding) and Sunny (for wedding day) were incredible to work with. They both made us feel very comfortable in front of the cameras and gave us thoughtful suggestions for poses. Anthony was amazing to work with. He designed our beautiful photobook, guestbook, and photobooth photo template. We are so thankful we have these photos to look back on. We would also like to point out how beautiful and clean the studio was with a mass array of dress styles (western and Chinese) and suits to choose from. We felt truly taken care off by everyone at A Plus Studio at 86th street and would highly recommend their services.

For Nikki & Steven's Wedding (11.30.25): What a beautiful ambience and very spacious studio - made waking up early for our H&MU relaxing and calm! Jenny and all the girls were so well organized, welcoming, and really paid attention to all of the details each bridesmaid wanted for her hair & makeup! Special and big shout-out to Crystal, who did my makeup, and Meiling, who did my hair! Crystal went above and beyond especially impressed with how delicate her techniques were at taking care of my skin - she was quick but efficient and made my makeup last 12+ hours even the lip color! Meiling did amazing with my hair and did so much better than me on putting my own hair extensions - such a pro! Crystal also did the beautiful bride's hair and makeup, which looked flawless and natural. All of them are super talented, very patient, and so caring! You won't regret choosing them as your next wedding bridal team! Thank you for making us feel extra beautiful!

They’re not only incredibly good at what they do, but also genuinely great people to work with. We always felt supported, understood, and cared for throughout the entire journey. They did an incredible job on our wedding day—Jacky in particular quickly became our favorite photographer ever. He is so attentive, extremely skilled, and just has an eye for capturing the perfect moments. We absolutely loved our pre-wedding photoshoots with him and are so excited to see the photos from the actual day.
