AdvantageCare Physicians - Flushing North Medical Office

My meeting with Dr. Rebecca Trogic for an annual physical was good. The wait time was long, however, the waiting room is pleasant - large and spacious, with soothing low lights. the People Health magazine that is laid out is interesting to read. the nurse who gave me 2 vaccine shots was good. reading all the 0 - 1 star reviews though . . . yikes. I guess I will update if needed.

My pcp and GYN are very caring and pay attention to my needs. I have been attending ACP for a few years and never had any issues. The front disk people, a little lazy, always having full blown conversation and taking people mins after the conversation..but over all it's a good location for me. I love the nurses, they are amazing .

This location needs higher ratings. The nurses and receptionist are top tier. Although I didn't get to interact with any of the doctors ( I only visited as a companion ) I've only heard positive reviews.

This place is horrible. I got prescribed medicine that was wrong for me based on my medical history. That was dangerous and thankfully only made me sick and not disabled for life. They only had 1 excellent doctor and that was Dr. Gu and she left. They need to replace her with another good doctor. They only have 2 PCP doctors now including Dr. Dianalan who is the worst doctor ever (rude, uncaring and incompetent) and then Dr. Shteynman who is negligent. They are too busy now and you have to wait about 1 to 2 hours just see the doctor even if you made an appointment for a specific time. I will not be going there again.

I went to see Johaira Dianalan for severe breathing issues. She did no physical examination, did not check my breathing at all. She just stood behind her desk and condescendingly told me they were allergies (despite zero signs of that being the case) and left the room despite me barely being able to breath. I understand I was probably her last patient that day and probably wanted to go home, but that’s no excuse to act that way to a patient. The nurse that brought me into the room beforehand was incredibly rude, too. I asked her how her day was and she said “I don’t get paid to talk to you people”. What does that even mean? The only person who was professional at this location was the secretary at the front desk. If you’re stuck with AdvantageCare, I highly recommend the Jamaica clinic. The nurses and doctors are so much nicer there.
