I’ve been going to this nail salon for almost 2 years now and I honestly wouldn’t trust my nails with anyone else. It’s owned by Eddie and Grace, and I always book with Eddie. When I make my appointment, I just tell him the color I want and he comes up with the design since I never really know what I want — and he always gets it right. They’re appointment-only, which I really appreciate because nails usually take about 2–4 hours depending on the design, and they’re never rushing the process. Prices usually range from around $50–$200 based on how simple or detailed the set is, but it’s completely worth it. My nails can last up to more than 5 weeks with no chipping at all. I always have an amazing experience at Arête Nail Salon! The space is clean, modern, and relaxing from the moment you walk in. The staff is warm, welcoming, and incredibly detail-oriented. My nails came out absolutely perfect—beautiful shape, smooth finish, and flawless polish application. They really take their time and never rush, which I appreciate so much. What stood out the most was the professionalism and care. They checked in throughout the process to make sure I was comfortable and happy with the length, shape, and color. The salon is spotless, the tools are sanitized, and you can see how seriously they take hygiene and customer satisfaction. My manicure has lasted longer than any place I’ve been to! Most places last only two weeks but coming to Arete Nails, my nails last well over a month! Highly recommended!

Did my manicure twice here this year and both times they were meticulously done and fairly priced! They had the viral glass/ moonlight cateye gel polish I wanted (that ended up being my engagement nails! so gorgeous!) and light “jelly” translucent gels for the clean girl aesthetic — did this one most recently. Super satisfied with my experience here and they are definitely professional, affordable and long-lasting.

One of the best nail experiences in nyc with really fair prices too! They’re very meticulous with the shaping, designing and even the top coat. They do cat eye/chrome/glass nails super well.

I had such a great experience at this nail salon! I was honestly surprised—in the best way—when a male nail tech did my nails, and he absolutely nailed it. I got cat eye with structured gel, and the results were stunning. The pictures don’t do it justice at all—the way it catches the light in person is just amazing. He was meticulous, professional, and clearly skilled. Highly recommend if you're looking for quality work and attention to detail. I’ll definitely be coming back!
