This place is such a hidden gem! It is literally one of the most affordable salons I’ve been to in the area and they also do such a great job at cutting and styling hair. This is my go-to salon and can’t see myself going anywhere else for my haircuts

I had an amazing experience with Gina at Touch hair salon. I came in with long hair for magic straight perm, and she just made amazing job. I am very sensitive with my bang, most of hair stylists don't really care about style of small bang, ,and so many times, I disappointed at making nice style of my bang, but she really carefully listens to and cares about my opinion and this was my best experience ever. I really appreciated for her. She is a very skilled stylist and very special and knowledgeable at perm, and also very friendly and sweet (she fed me yummy BLT and coffee :p). This is the best hair salon my 6years in NYC. I will definitely never go anywhere else! I'd highly recommend!!! Love her!

I came in with very uneven, unblended hair bangs and heavy/flat hair. The lady hairstylist fixed all of that. She blended my growing bangs into the layers. She cut off a decent amount of hair length so that it can grow out even and healthy. I’m sharing a collage of my hair before and after the haircut. I will come again and bring my mom too.

I was 30 mins late bc it was raining so bad and the trains were delayed and didnt stop at 52nd street, but Jina was accommodating and very nice. Salon is very quiet...very nice to be in a quiet salon away from craziness of Flushing or Chinatown salons. I wanted Big curls bc my hair is sooooooo flat....Jina assessed and had to do a smaller size roller at the roots and big roller at the ends just to give my flat hair some volume up top Her and her husband???? Were very nice and very fast, but in a good way, very efficient. Came out looking great !!! Will definitely come back again!! TY Jina ! I've gotten perms b4 but my hair is resistant and have had it come loose and undone pretty much as soon as I come home....and had to come back next day for it to be redone. ...so far, despite rain etc...still looking pretty good (knock on wood). Prices are more affordable compared to other Korean salons so when my hair is longer will definitely try the digital wavier perm !!!

Would give this place a negative if I could. Trusted the woman to do my hair and she literally ruined it. I asked for a simple highlight and somehow ended up with blue, silver, brown, white and patchy hair. What’s worse is that she tried to charge me $400 saying that she is tired and it took so long. Then she tried to explain that the blue would wash out of my hair and become brown magically. She was extremely rough with my hair and even ripped out and earring during washing my hair and didn’t even apologize. Both her and her husband kept complaining that it’s too much work to do but if they couldn’t provide the service they should have said no when I came in. The man accused me of trying to scam them when I said I wouldn’t pay $400 for a botched job and become very confrontational. They couple spoke Korean and was saying extremely impolite things in there language as well because they didn’t realize I understood their language. Was overall a very negative and uncomfortable experience. Please go somewhere else if you value your hair. ***Also did not wear masks while working or wipe down any chairs after customers came in and out. Not following covid protocols at ALL.
