I came to Ascend for my birthday and because I had just come out of an aircast after 10 weeks with a broken foot and crutches. This was one of the most lovely spa experiences I've had in NYC. Bright & clean space, reasonable prices, and most importantly, genuinely attentive and friendly staff. No unnecessary pretentiousness that often exists in these spaces. From the moment you walk in, Clara is so warm and welcoming. I explained my recovery period and physical ailments to Briant and he was so attentive. I felt such relief after the massage. Lastly, I had a facial with Dulce. She was very thorough in her consult and honest with her assessment that the facial I had booked was probably going to be too harsh for my skin. I got the added bonus of hearing her explain all her steps to their esthetician-in-training, and it's clear she knows what she's doing. By the end of the experience here, I felt so well cared for and relaxed. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back!

Such a gem in Kew Gardens! I got a package with Ascend Day Spa and have been loving every treatment so far. I've seen Bryant twice for massages, and it’s quickly become my new self-care ritual. I recently saw Suzanna for a Hydrafacial and lymphatic drainage, and my skin is glowing—perfect timing with my sister’s wedding just two days away! I’ve already booked my next appointment and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend!

Been going to the place for a few years now- overall an excellent spa. Reasonable pricing, clean facility and front desk is always so kind. I'm a returning client for Ingrid for her excellent massages and I just had my first hydrofacial with Dulce- both are sweethearts and great at what they do! I always leave happy and relaxed 😌

I work long hours at a computer and, now entering my mid-40s, I’ve become much more aware of how much tension builds up in my back and shoulders. I was specifically looking for a qualified and attentive massage therapist who could truly identify and address problem areas rather than just provide a routine massage. By chance, I reached out to Ascend Wellness & Medical Spa in Kew Gardens. I had actually called a bit too early, but Carla noticed my missed call and kindly called me back. That simple gesture already told me a lot about the level of care there. When we spoke, she was warm, welcoming, and took the time to listen to what I was experiencing before recommending Bryan. I’m so glad she did. My session with Bryan was excellent. Nothing felt rushed, and he took the time to answer my questions, explaining the likely causes of my tension, the techniques he was using, and ways I could reduce tension buildup going forward. During the massage, he periodically checked in to ensure the pressure was comfortable and that he was focusing on the areas that needed the most attention. The entire experience felt thoughtful and professional. The atmosphere of the spa is calming and truly allows you to disconnect from the outside world — exactly what you hope for in a wellness space. In a busy world, if you are looking for a genuinely restorative way to take care of yourself, I highly recommend Ascend. I left feeling fantastic — my back felt lighter, and I walked out far more relaxed than when I arrived.

I had a great experience at Ascend Wellness & Medical Spa in Kew Gardens. They were able to fit me and my best friend in last minute, and the staff was very attentive from the moment we walked in. They offered us tea (which was amazing) while we waited, and the space is really relaxing. I got a deep tissue massage and it was exceptional, one of the best I’ve had. The sauna and shower in the bathroom were a nice surprise, and I definitely want to come back for their body scrub. The only downside for me was the nail services. I had builder gel on my toes, but the nail tech insisted it was acrylic, which was frustrating. I ended up canceling the pedi, and my manicure was messy with hangnails left behind. Personally, I wouldn’t book nails here again. Overall: excellent for massages and body treatments, not the place I’d choose for nails.
