I was quite anxious going to fix my front tooth for a while. However Dr. Mai was great, she explained the procedure carefully and made sure I understood. I feel a new level of confidence now even though its not completely finished. I feel more relaxed about my next appointment to have the rest of my teeth fixed 🙂

We all love Dr Mai and care team. The staff are great and they always help make my autistic adult son Daniel feel comfortable and welcome. The receptionists were very welcoming and friendly. Our family have been going to Dr Mai clinic for over 10 years. Dr Mai, hygienist Annie and dental assistant were also amiable and joyful. Impossible mission to take good care of my special needs adult son. Thank you Dr Mai and all care team to finish this mission. Thanks a lot.

Dr. Mai is a very experienced dentist and does great work. Kerry always goes above and beyond my expectations to meet my needs. The office is very busy and it's a very positive and fun environment. The entire staff is great

I had a root canal and crown done here around a year ago. The root canal went fine. The crown, however, has fallen loose three times in the past year. Below are my main complaints: This dentist office seems to overschedule patients and wait times are very long. If you are scheduled for 8AM, expect to be let in by the front desk any time from 8:30 to 9. Once you are inside on a dental chair, you often have to wait another 20 to 60 minutes before being helped by a dentist. When I had a mold taken for the crown, the office was so busy that the front desk lady ended up doing the mold, rather than a dentist. When the actual dentist came in she looked a bit surprised and just went along with it. The first time my crown fell out was just one month after the initial fitting. This time the dentist shaved off a notable portion of the crown AND PART OF MY UPPER TOOTH RIGHT ABOVE THE CROWNED TOOTH, WITHOUT ANY PRIOR NOTICE OR ASKING FOR CONSENT. The crown lasted another 6 months or so before falling loose again. This time I went to another dentist and he commented that the crown is not appropriately made and won’t stay on for long. Nonetheless I asked him to reattach it since my insurance won’t cover a new crown for another five years. This time it lasted just two months before falling out again. I called Dr. Mai’s At Home Dental to let them know about the situation, asking if it’s there’s warranty on the crown and if it’s possible to get anything major done to it. But they simply stated that there’s nothing they could do because it has already been one year (barely) since the initial crown fitting, despite all the questionable practices I’ve experienced throughout this process. Now I will probably end up having to pay $1000 out of pocket for a new crown from another place since it would be a nightmare to go to a dentist every few months to reattach a bad crown.

Dr.Mai is a competent dentist, but the office manager is horrible. I had a root canal and the post done, waiting to get my crown. Then I got a call from the office claiming that my insurance is too bad and that I had to pay out of my own pocket. They offered a "generous" discount and charged me $900 for both procedures. It wasn't until I called the insurance myself that I realized they billed for the wrong tooth. I asked them to correct the paperwork. After a few weeks, they were still sitting on it. Every time I followed up, they accused me of being impatient. When I asked for a breakdown of the fees, they insinuated that I'm ignorant and confused. I finally got fed up and left. This is not how a dentist's office should serve its patients.
