We’ve been here a few times and love the food here. Fish was freshly made. Milk mochi tasted so good. Great service too!

Tomato broth bliss with beef and fish!! We ordered the tomato soup base combo for two at B2J Tasty Pot—and it fed three of us easily! The portion was generous, with two sides and two rice included, making it a fantastic value. The tomato broth was rich and flavorful, and the combo of beef and fish was surprisingly perfect—hearty, fresh, and super satisfying. Every bite felt comforting and well-balanced. Definitely one of the best hot pot experiences we’ve had in a while. We’ll be back for sure!

There are so many places selling suancai fish (pickled mustard fish) in New York now, but B2J Tasty Pot in Bayside really stands out with its unique flavor. The soup is flavorful but not overly salty or heavy, and most importantly, it doesn’t leave you feeling extremely thirsty afterward, which I really appreciate. If you order their combo meal, it comes with a variety of side dishes, and the selection is surprisingly generous. Even though the sides are included with the set, most of them are actually very tasty. The Spiced Chicken with Chili Sauce was quite good, and the Fried Fish Skin was crispy and enjoyable. The Fried Milk Custard was soft and sweet. The Pickled Chicken Gizzard was tender and flavorful. The only two sides that could be improved a bit were the Crispy Fried Pork Belly, which felt slightly less impressive compared to the others, and the Fried Chicken Wings, which were a bit on the small side. One more thing worth mentioning — their rice is surprisingly amazing. It’s honestly one of the few places where I actually felt the rice was good enough that I wanted to take some home. It pairs perfectly with the suancai fish. ✨ Also, the waitresses were extremely friendly and welcoming, and they all had bright smiles throughout our visit, which is something you don’t see very often these days. That made the whole dining experience even better. Overall, this is a place I would definitely come back to, especially for their suancai fish, the great combo sides, and the excellent service.

Great food and generous portions. Not too oily, and the fish was very fresh and tender. The noodles were also excellent, chewy noodles with a clean, comforting broth. Everything tasted authentic. Will definitely come back.

This place hits all the marks! The Three-in-One noodles (get the extra wide!) are my perfect comfort food, and the Chinese Beef Burger is so good. Plus, the vibe is clean and modern, and the staff is genuinely friendly. A fantastic spot for a satisfying, no-fuss meal. Highly recommend!
