We were craving banh mi during our trip to NYC, and read this is one of the best spots in the city (that's still somewhat affordable). We got the no. 1 and no. 8. Taste-wise, both flavours were delicious. They tasted very similar to Vancouver-style banh mi, which we are used to. Remember to bring cash as the place is cash only.

Had an opportunity to dine with the family/ owners and it was a wholesome experience! They were most hospitable. The food and beverages were amazing, the preparation emaculate, the smiles genuine and the foot traffic - overstood. This place is not luxurious, but that's not of concern. We found it to be a comfy familial atmosphere, with a restroom, fresh cooked meals, and good products - especially the iced Vietnamese coffee. Hands down the best I've ever tasted. We'll be back!

I live nearby, and after reading such great reviews, I’ve been looking forward to the day I try their bánh mì. Today was the day, and I purchased their popular combination #1 of various pork, and also purchased an egg roll. The sandwhich was phenomonal, the bread was truly perfect, never have I had a baguette so suited for a sandwhich before. Delightfully balanced with fillings and sauce. I look forward to returning to try other sandwiches and items, as well as reorder egg rolls. Note it is cash only.

Most amazing and affordable banh mi I have had in the city!! So fresh and filling. I also recommend getting their shakes!! I got the papaya & it was the perfect touch for my meal. They also sale an array of Viet snacks and deserts :) Also make sure to bring cash as they are cash only
