Baker's Recovery

I had chocolate chips cookie and hot chocolate with marshmallows, my husband had carrot cake and let me tell you eveyring was so delicious! Jen the owner was really amazing and her story was inspiring in so many ways. I’ll be back to try more dessert💖☺️ thank you Jen for being you and taking the risk to open this bakery shop🦋 my inner child is super happy atm🙈🎂

We read about this rather new bakery in an online post. The reviews were pretty good so we decided to walk down to check it out for ourselves. It is a rather small place with a few stools at the window bar. Jenn the owner was really pleasant and helpful. She recommended the brownie which is her best seller. We also got a cup of coffee which was very good. We ate the brownie and drank the coffee in the store. Yummy. Then we bought another brownie to take home. A little out of our way down near 36th street on second Ave. but we definitely will go again when in the area.

This review is long overdue! I’ve been to Bakers Recovery a few times and never had a bad dessert. My current favorites are the Banana Chocolate Chip Cupel and the Pretzel Marshmallow Tookie (the one that looks like a taco) both are amazing! They’re always coming up with new treats, so there’s always a reason to go back. Oh, and the hot chocolate… rich, chocolatey, and just perfect. If it’s your first time, get the Sweet Special Dessert Box to start you can’t go wrong. Jenn is awesome! Always smiling, super friendly, and makes you feel right at home. Alright, enough reading go treat yourself, you won’t be disappointed! 🍫

💍 We decided to skip tradition and take the scenic route to forever — and it was truly the best decision we’ve ever made. One thing we did want to keep, though, was the cake! After a recent trip to NYC, we fell in love with the carrot cake from Baker’s Recovery. 🥕 🎂 A friend reached out to Jenn, who went above and beyond to coordinate with our friend and ensure the cake could travel all the way across the country to Redwood National Park — arriving as fresh and perfect as possible for our special day. It was the sweetest (literally!) addition to our magical celebration, and we can’t thank Jenn enough for her care, communication, and kindness. ✨ 🌲 If you’re looking for a bakery that pours love into every detail, Baker’s Recovery is the one! 💕🎂

Delicious desserts! I love how thoughtfully crafted every flavor here is. My favorite is Michael’s peanut butter marshmallow cookie—it’s not too sweet and has a great balance of nutty peanut butter and rich chocolate. The texture is amazing too, with the perfect mix of crisp pretzel and fluffy marshmallow. It’s basically all the good stuff in one cookie. Thank you, Jenn!
