Banh Mi Cafe ( East village )

Amazing Vietnamese banh mi! Super fresh ingredients, crispy baguette, and flavorful meats. The portions are generous and the price is very fair for NYC. Staff is friendly and quick even during busy hours. This instantly became one of my go-to spots for a quick, delicious lunch. Highly recommend the classic pork banh mi — perfect balance of savory and tangy!

I was craving bánh mì and decided to try this place—so glad I did! The sandwich was generous with plenty of meat and veggies, and the bread was super fresh. Every bite was great. I wish they had more tables, but the shop is very clean and the staff is friendly. I would definitely come back.

Lemongrass Chicken Bahn Mi with Iced Coffee. Delicious! Crispy bread, flavorful chicken. The spice of the sandwich was offset by the sweetness of the coffee. If you're in the area, stop in. Worth the trip!

I have ordered from here when it opened and it was spectacular. The last two times I’ve ordered from them have been a big change. Last time, I ordered the lemongrass chicken banh mi and it left my baguette sopping wet. Leaving it to be inedible because it pretty much became mush. This time with the original banh mi, the bread is stale and clearly has been sitting out. The bread is cold and sad looking. I’m so shocked by the quality control of this place. The first few times I really enjoyed it and deemed it to be a great banh mi for the area but these last 2 times I cannot return as these were incredibly disappointing.
