My ophthalmologist referred me to Bay Ridge Family Eye Care. I found an excellent provider of personal optometry service. I’ve worn eyeglasses for over 30 years and lived in different parts of NYC. This company and their service are the best I’ve found. I am comfortable recommending Bay Ridge Family Eye Care to my neighbors and friends. If my eyeglass frames need any adjustment, I am always welcome back, and one of the technicians will take care of me. The difference between a small business and a big chain is the personal attention and follow-up. It doesn’t come any better than the personal attention and excellent support that comes after the sale of the glasses to the Consumer, all in the same store where I purchased my glasses initially

Guys, on a day like today when you’re extremely understaffed, you have to have a better system to handle your customers, and you have to do a better job managing expectations. People were wasting their time waiting for services that they were eventually told they would need to come back for next week, and the only person who could supposedly handle my lens order was helping someone - for over 20 minutes - choose a pair of eyeglass frames. I eventually left and went elsewhere for my lenses. This isn’t the first time that I’ve seen this place bogged down by preventable chaos, and I’m moving on.

I called 3 days to request information about my Insurance in order to have a new pair of glasses and an eye exam. They never called me back. I’ll never call again and do business with them.

I do not recommend this place . I went there. Twice and I regretted . They had good stuff except one person will ruin the whole visit. His not the doctor or a technician but I do not know what is his position over there . He is in the front desk or supposed to help you choosing your frame, he is the youngest male of them but he is very rude , he wants to give you the worst glasses frame in the whole collection, he interferes in your selection and makes bad comments about your selection and says that is what the insurance will cover, then offer you an expensive frame and wants to force you to buy . If you ignore him he goes into mad mood . The strangest thing that no one from the other staff interfere to stop him ! It was my mistake to go there twice and I will not ever repeat my mistake and go back there again because of him .
