Beautiful Hair Salon

I recently visited Beautiful Hair Salon in Chinatown, and I'm so glad I did! This hidden gem of a salon offers extremely affordable pricing and a mom and pop shop atmosphere. I was able to book an appointment (make sure to make an appointment, they seem to be booked out) easily, and the service I received was top-notch. I felt that every strand of my hair was important to the stylist since he was very meticulous with how he took care of my hair. I highly recommend Beautiful Hair Salon to anyone looking for a great experience at a great price. I walked out of the shop paying $40 for the cut and wash (I also had really long hair) and I ended up liking the cut more than a previous experience that charged me 3x more.

I refuse to get my hair cut anywhere but here. You simply cannot beat the price. I know everyone loves Mei's work (incl me) but I also wanted to recognize the other man hairdresser (I wish I knew his name). He washed and cut my hair during my last appointment and I loved how it turned out. They will understand what kind of look you're going for if you provide a description or inspo photos

Great value for the cut I received! They had one opening otherwise they are booked 3 weeks out already. I showed him a photo of what I wanted and offered some suggestions on the length and now to tackle it. It took about 30 minutes, and he made sure he got the parting right, the sides were all even and matching and added texture and flow to my hair. All of that only costed $26. I’ll be returning.

Mei is the sweetest person and everything you would want in a hair stylist - high attention to detail, knowledgeable, skilled, and affordable. Takes a while to get in with her, but for good reason because she is amazing! I will absolutely be coming back!

This is my 4th time going to Mei and I’m always happy with my haircut! She knows exactly what i want just by explaining to her and showing her pictures. The male hair stylist is also gentle washing and drying my hair. 5 stars for this hidden gem!
