My child has been taking Chinese lessons with Beautiful Mandarin, and we’ve been extremely happy with the experience! The teachers are patient, engaging, and knows how to make each lesson fun and interactive. They use games and visual materials to help children stay focused and excited about learning. Overall, I highly recommend Beautiful Mandarin to any parent who wants their child to learn Mandarin in a positive, encouraging environment. It’s been such a rewarding experience! My son used to have little interest in learning Chinese, but since joining this school over the summer, I’ve seen such wonderful progress. He’s now curious, engaged, and even starting to recognize and speak some Chinese words — it truly surprised and delighted me! Learning Chinese is very important to our family since our roots are from China, and I feel so grateful to have found such caring and dedicated teachers. It’s a huge relief and joy to see my child developing a genuine interest in the language. I would love for more families to know about this school and experience the same positive impact we have. We definitely plan to continue with this class for the long term.

Wanted to officially learn Mandarin and started learning with Beautiful Mandarin through a hybrid group class. They provide resources such as videos and e-books to assist with comprehension as well as lots of conversation, which has helped me grasp the language a little better! Sissi is a wonderful teacher and caters to all students of different levels. The classes are two hours a week, but I would definitely recommend a lot of self-studying and review as well.

I highly recommend Beautiful Mandarin for anyone who wants to learn Mandarin or anyone who wants to improve their Mandarin. I studied Mandarin years ago and wanted to take group classes to re- learn in a social environment. I signed up for the unlimited six month package and attend two classes a week. Compared to other Mandarin schools in Manhattan I looked at, Beautiful Mandarin is the best value for money. In the last five weeks since starting group classes I have improved so much and truly look forward to attend classes. Sissi, the owner, teaches all the classes and is so nice and makes class so fun. I like her teaching style a lot- she really emphasizes learning all aspects including reading, writing, listening and speaking. Each class has between 6-10 people and I find that the two hours fly by because the lessons are interesting and everyone is friendly and we always have a good laugh. Truly cannot recommend Beautiful Mandarin enough and I look forward to continuing my studies here for the long term future!

Beautiful Mandarin is not the usual Learning Center for learning Mandarin. It is a beautiful community that is being nurtured by the amazing Sissi, Wei and Ann. One of the important aspects to learning any new language is to immerse oneself in the culture that birthed it. And at Beautiful Mandarin, students like myself are introduced to the different aspects of Chinese Culture and events that inspires us to continue in our language journey. Whether it’s a Mahjong Game Night or the wonderful etiquette found in Chinese Tea Ceremony or welcoming the Spring Festival with calligraphy and dumplings, Beautiful Mandarin goes above and beyond to immerse it students and community members and allowing us to take part in this rich cultural experience. Sissi, Wei and Ann are truly some of the most amazing people you could ever meet and their passion for education also motivates novices like myself to put in the extra mile in our journey. I came into Beautiful Mandarin trying to learn a complex language. But what this Community provides is more than just learning a complex language. It also provides a safe space for others wanting to learn this wonderful language. At almost every class, students interacting with each other in the Language levels they are part of truly hones in the application side of learning a language. I’ve met other students who have been part of this community for more than five years and have nothing but truly beautiful memories. And I feel that Beautiful Mandarin will be my second home for years to come. You come to learn a language. You stay for the amazing community and vibrant cultural experience.
