Celebrated my birthday with friends and the experience was great. We connected to the speaker and we all got into Picasso-mode !!! Only downfall would be that there is no bathroom…

Saw this post on ig and it reminded me of my friends bday party she had for her son here lol. Kids were eating half slices of pizza. Some couldn’t even get seconds. Half slices ? For kids. Really?? Kids eat a lot. Not to mention they had two jugs of Hawaiian Punch. It was barely enough. The adults had to die of thirst as they didn’t even have water. lol. The kids got to paint a structure and make slime from what I remember. It felt rushed.

The short: Purchased a birthday package for my daughter. The activities were nice. My daughter and her friends enjoyed themselves. We ordered food with the package and it was good. Overall this place is not setup for birthdays. Best enter do activities and go home. The Long: So I waited a few weeks before writing this review to reduce the amount of feels bads when I finally wrote this, but that shows the state of mind I have over the whole thing. 1 - This place has no bathroom on site. Kids doing messy activities, people eating, people drinking, and because it's attached to the mall they feel it's ok to tell people to leave the space walk a block to enter the mall, walk another block to get to the mall's public restroom. Needless to say, people went missing during the party to go on a quest to the bathroom. This is unacceptable. 2 - Poor organization and communication. We arrived early to setup the party and my wife was under the impression that it was a private event, but the space had other customers. After setting up, the other customers almost tried to eat the smacks for the party. The adult food arrived late, but it was good. They forgot to order the pizza for the kids. I asked if we could just use the adult food for the kids and they could give back the kids food cost, the worker said she would speak to the boss. Then they snuck out, brought back one pie and rushed to check the box. Note we had paid for 12 kids, not all showed but they provided a a single pie for 8. Math doesn't work. When the pizza finally arrived we were practically cutting the cake. Everyone had already eaten the other food. It was totally disorganized. 3 - Hidden fees/miscommunication regarding what was included. We thought it was private, it was not. The mandatory tip of 20% was not mentioned. The $50 fee for paying with a credit card was not mentioned. All in all the package advertised at aprx. $400 plus $130 for food came out to aprx. $1000. 4 - The service was not satisfactory. There were three employees that were in the space and which was in charge, I don't think even they knew. One was friendly and well intentioned. She helped out where she could. One tried to resolve the situations that arose and helped out as well. One looked, acted, commented, and made sure all saw that she was not happy to be there. More than that her comments made all the adult guest do second takes. Even the kids felt the animosity. I am the crazy type of person that feels tipping should be voluntary, so mandatory is not ok with me, but even worse when the best I can say about the staff is that they mostly didn't mean to mess everything up. Except for one that didn't care to be there. So I guess they could have smacked me and I would still need to give the mandatory tip. I will be fair in stating that they did extend the hours of the birthday to compensate for all the mess ups, and as mentioned I didn't feel 2 out of the 3 staff deserve a bad review, but good intentions won't resolve the fact that this place left me with that scammed feeling. Becareful if you decide to come here.

I was excited to come make a “happy birthday” plate for my daughter that’s turning one to have for multiple birthdays. We were given the plate however I was limited on colors. I had to keep getting the attention of the workers and had to wait for more colors to come my way. The brushes weren’t different styles so it was difficult to draw certain things. There was no stencil or way of me writing something neatly on the plate. Lastly what shocked me was the way they “glazed” the plate. They sprayed it and brought it back and it was still ceramic feeling. Not the usual glaze that I’ve done at other arts and crafts places where you can eat off the plate etc. it still felt like the ceramic and I could feel the paint. Overall I’m disappointed because I didn’t get the experience I wanted. We also weren’t given the same attention as other tables. It looks nice for birthdays for children. But I think the spray they use isn’t good.
