Bird & Bao

Bird & Bao in Patchogue is hands down one of my favorite places to eat! The food is always consistently amazing & the owner & staff are genuinely some of the nicest people. Every time I walk in, I feel like I’m being taken care of & it keeps me coming back way more often than I’d like to admit (I’m officially addicted). The Nashville hot chicken bao bun is my go to every single time. Perfectly crispy, spicy, flavorful, & just unreal in that soft bao bun. And the crispy brussel sprouts… honestly, they’re to die for. I could three whole orders by myself without blinking. If you’re anywhere near Patchogue & haven’t tried Bird & Bao yet, you’re missing out! I recommend it to everyone!!

Friendly staff, and the Bao Buns were really good! We tried “The O.G.” and “The Blackbird”, can’t wait to come back and try more.

I walked from Mount Vesuvius to find my way to Bird & Bao. Legend has it the bao bun is the softest and most delicious bunned meat one can have. The elders of my village were right. It was absolutely delicious. They even have offerings for the plant eaters of our tribe which was much appreciated and quickly devoured. The staff was exceptionally friendly, the restaurant was clean and bright, but the food??? It was magically delicious. The dessert? From the gods hands to my moist and inviting mouth. Life changing. I have a long walk home but look forward to my next sojourn to Bird & Bao.

This could be the best food in Patchogue Village. Heck, at the moment it is! The food is simple, clean and rich with flavor. Service is friendly and attentive. They know what they’re doing here. Other larger establishments in Patchogue should really learn from this place. Simple acts such as greetings and saying goodbye/thank you are not overlooked. Solid experience. Go check them out.
