I LOVE HERE !! All the staff are so amazing and kind and take the time to listen to my concerns and my ideas! I love this salon because everyone is nice and they are fast and have what I believe to be a streamlined process that doesn’t rush me. Recommend and I definitely will come back!!!

Been coming to this spot for mani for a little over half a year now. Tried regular gel, regular mani and dip powder gel. The latter is my absolute favorite and Julie is just amazing with her craft. In the last few weeks, I think there was an ownership change/name change, the price went up slightly but it’s negligible. A couple of the old employees are still there, including Julie, thank goodness. I’m a creature of habit, when I find something I like, I don’t like changes. For the technicians, at first I didn’t know who’d who and didn’t have a preference, so I’ve tried several of them and different types of manis. I think the third time I went, Julie recommended I try the dip powder because two of my nails kept breaking and suffering from vertical splits that go almost all the way down to the nail bed. She said powder gel protects natural nails better. I’ve been hooked on dip powder gel since then. Tried a regular OPI red polish mani for the New Year day (Julie was off that day) and ran back to redo my mani with powder gel three days later. Almost forgot how weak my natural nails were after so many months of feeling I had invincible nails and broke two trying to open packages while I had regular polish on. I typically get one of the white or pale pink dip powders and I think I found my favorites. The white powder gel (Funny Bunny) is so cute and perfect for island vacations. For pinks, Lost in Translation is my current fav. I usually ask for a super short round or squoval shape so it’s easier to type during a normal work week. Since I don’t do any heavy labor and the most impact my nails see are a keyboard, I ask Julie to thin out the powder gel a little after she’s done. It will have a smoother more natural finish and it looks almost like regular polish but so much stronger. Some of the semi sheer pink powder gels had a French tip look to them when done like that. I usually get the powder gel redone every two weeks or so. The down side compared to UV gels is that I had to soak off the powder gel each time vs fill ins. Price wise it’s very reasonable compared to those I’ve seen in the city. And definitely a deal compared to some of the UV gel manis I’ve gotten during my travels. There are so many new colors for the spring that I want to try, but they’re in UV gel only, so I’m still debating if I want to give up my powder gels for a while. I have not tried their pedicure yet. One of my toes got infected after surgery and I’m still going through treatment. Interestingly enough, around Thanksgiving time, I saw a lot of guys getting pedicures while I was waiting. The message chairs look so comfy, once I’m done with treatments for my toe, pedicures be on my list of things to try for the next summer. Overall, based on what I’ve tried so far, I’d highly recommend powder gel manis with Julie. Even on busy days, I would wait for her to be available to work on my powder gel. I don’t do acrylics, can’t stand the smell, so I can’t really speak to that.

I got my gel extensions with wonderfully detailed nail art at this salon! The ladies were all super nice and funny. I was also shocked at how quickly my nail artist did everything. Would highly recommend coming here :)
