My son and I rescued an injured lost puppy on our way home whom almost got ran over only to bring him home and couldn’t contact its owner. Nypd was no help, 311 was no help, there was no animal control available! And the utmost pain was every vet we called was open to out of pocket payment there and then and could not keep him. So sad this happened to this poor puppy! But to our luck we held him overnight treated him with what we had for our pups he was doing a little better but was fortunate enough to get a response from Bobbi herself to bring him him bless her heart such a loving and caring person to take him in asap!!!!

My experience was pleasant. I was donating some senior doggie items since my pooch past away. They have cute companions waiting to be adopted. The dogs have plenty of space and are well groomed and taken care of. If you are interested in a new buddy, check Bobbi & the strays.

Put in three applications for different dogs and didn't get any. They used to let you come in and meet the dogs. That worked better, you had a better chance of getting a dog, I know, that's how I got one 10 years ago.

I had a very disappointing experience with this shelter, specifically with the manager, Ron. While Jordan was the only staff member who was kind and professional, Ron’s behavior was completely unacceptable. We had discussed a surrender, and I was told he’d come by in the morning. I expected a courtesy call when he was en route, but instead, he just rang the bell while I was busy with my children. By the time I could get to the door, he was gone. When I called him back, he answered with a rude 'What?' and became incredibly defensive. When I explained that I’m a parent and was occupied for a moment, he responded with 'Okay? And so what?' and told me the reason I was busy didn't matter. He ultimately refused to help me, leaving me in a lurch. If this is how he treats people in a crisis, I worry about how the animals are treated. I would not recommend donating to or supporting this facility as long as Ron is in charge.

Very rude, I called asking them to help me with a cat, the woman on the phone sounded very rude and LAZY. Asking my age and said I DIDNT SOUND LIKE IT!? it really doesn't matter about how I sound. these people are lacking the care for theses cats. Telling me to talk to my mom!? its truly unbelievable how disgusting these people are. I've tried to ignore the nasty reviews I've seen, but here's another one for you guys.
