Bobo Pharmacy

Pretty good store, they have almost everything you need from hair products to meds. Staffs are nice and friendly, All workers there are super helpful, they always go the extra mile to help someone. Atmosphere feels comfortable and overall pretty good store.

I love supporting mom, and pop shops & Bobo Pharmacy makes it easy always to come back. Their staff and pharmacists are friendly, easy to approach, and always available to answer any questions you may have. I was looking for a product that wasn't available in Walgreens or Target, and not only did they have it, but it was also better priced than at the bigger stores. They also accept my insurance, so I’ll always use them to fill my prescriptions. A true gem!

Consistent, reliable, and multilingual. No words, be it in dialect, Cantonese, Mandarin, or English, can adequately express my gratitude to the team at Bobo and to Zheng in particular for helping to bring me back to life both physically and emotionally. Moreover, BOBO pharmacy is a bastion of East Asian civilization in an otherwise dirty, violent, and impersonal New York City. When Truman Capote wrote Breakfast at Tiffany’s, he envisioned an establishment where someone would feel at home and noted New York City to be the destination where wanderers from distant places would go to seek a home–yet home is less a physical location as it is an emotional state. My own experience would be more akin to “Breakfast at Bobo’s” because I had never felt more at home than when I would observe Zheng go into these long-winded explanations with the immigrant grandpas and grandmas over how to take their medications and talking to them like he’s their BFF. And making me laugh when I was feeling at my lowest by cheekily asking me the loaded question, “Do you read English or Chinese?” Update: The pharmacy has stuck with me during desperate times. Whoever he is, the man at the front of the back counter is especially funny, kind, and attentive. This particular gentleman, who kind of looks like Jacky Cheung (lmao), presumably an immigrant from Hong Kong–although he would probably not remember or like to take credit for it–even saved my life once by conducting an action as ordinary as filing an insurance claim. These are the QUIET HEROES of society... Even as he subtly exposes and roasts me as the feckless and reckless ABC that I am, I never thought I would feel happy and comforted going to a pharmacy; I will never forget what he did for me. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.

It’s not my first time here but service has gotten worse. The pharmacist is super rude and angry when all I’m asking was for my medications that were prescribed. Not only do I not receive all my medications that were prescribed, they were not accommodating and helpful as to how we can fix the situation. When i request for my medications, I don’t receive all my medications and said the doctor didn’t send it over. After they called the doctor to send the prescriptions again, they still do not have all my medications for me. Not only did I had to come back a second time, they were rude and not accomodating to the situation. I’m not sure if the pharmacist was stressed due to the high traffic at the time I went. But that’s definitely not how you treat your customers

Avoid This pharmacy is the worst pharmacy on earth They have no respect to old or young customers My office was the same block and I was there first customer more than 15 years ago. They was so rude to me and almost I had a heart attack because of their disrespect to me
