I had a great experience today at Body Politic with Dr. Mona. Walked right in to a beautiful and welcoming space and my concerns were heard and understood and had a great acupuncture session and left buzzing with symptoms relieved. Will continue. Happy to have this in the neighborhood.

Dr. Chan is heaven sent. My back and right side has been bothering me for months now and modern medicine was not helping so I decided to use Western technology. I book an acupuncture appointment with her and from the moment she said hello, I knew I was in good hands. She took her time to listen and ask important questions to develop the best action plan to begin to help me. I am afraid of needles, but she took her time and asked how each needle felt before moving on to the other. Anyone that I could not tolerate, she removed and found a replacement. After the session, she took time to talk to me about some at home after care and helped me set up my next appointment to try another method that should be me due to my needle fear. Whether you are on Brooklyn or any other borough, you will not be disappointed traveling to see her.

I’m so grateful I came across Body Politic. Dr. Chan was so peaceful and explained the process for me as it was my first time getting acupuncture. She took her time and made me feel like a priority. Can’t recommend this spot enough.

Body Politic is a safe, clean, and inviting space, and Mona and Julian are wonderful practitioners. They are both fantastic listeners, and so careful in their practice. They ask thoughtful questions and provide helpful suggestions! I initially came in on a whim, hoping that acupuncture could help with my anxiety. Thanks to Julian, not only did I feel incredible relief after my first appointment, I felt equipped to handle the issue in my daily life. I have returned many times because I trust Julian and Mona! They have helped me with back problems, headaches, and anxiety -- with far more success than any other method I have tried. They are wonderful!

This place has such a great peaceful energy! Love going there! I had first session with Mona and second with Robert so far, they both are incredible! They are very knowledgeable, attentive and caring. They do magic! I felt improvement with my acid reflex, back and shoulder pain and tension after first session! Always leaving my sessions feeling amazing and soooo relaxed!:) Thank you guys!
