Favorite bakery in the east village. Every pastry I’ve tried is always made so fresh and tastes delicious. My favorites are the croissant and vegan pumpkin chocolate loaf! Also the decor is always so cute and cozy!

When I learned that the former head baker of Maison Kayser opened a bakery, I knew I had to check it out. As soon as I opened the door, I felt that Maison Kayser certainly lives on: the cookies, the chaussons, they all looked so familiar. Yes, the space is much smaller, but the same spirit is there. I was one of the many folks who were devastated by the bankruptcy and closure of Maison Kayser in NYC. I came from an area without many French bakeries save for Maison Kayser’s global presence. It’s the flavor I looked forward to for a fancy weekend treat (really, New Yorkers are spoiled by so much choice!), especially the walnut chocolate chip cookie. Everyone has their own ideal cookie. This is mine. Thank you for letting me have it again.

So delighted we stopped in! We enjoyed a chocolate almond croissant and I had a flat white which paired perfectly. Staff was very kind and there was little to no issue finding seats. We’re in town to see a show at Daryl Roth Theatre and happy to find a nice place to pass the time.

I love this spot. The coffee & baked goods are both great, my favorite is the cheese bread. There’s always a line showing just how good it is and everyone behind the counter is kind & fast in getting to everyone ordering. The only thing I wish is that there was more seating!

The place is a nice and cozy environment where you can get a sweet and savory baked good treat that will bright up your day. The bread and pastry’s there are one of my favorites in the world and staff is very friendly and great with their customers. I go there whenever I can and it never disappoints. The best thing on the menu in my opinion is the bressane which is a brioche bun with sugar on it and the fluffy sweet bread is to die for. I strongly recommend it.
