My daughter transitioned from competitive rhythmic gymnastics to dance in September, and enrolling her at Brooklyn’s Elite Dance Complex has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. Elite Dance Compex is absolutely THE BEST! Kids learn to dance from experienced attentive teachers with a driven spirit. This studio has transformed my 11 year old daughter from a beginner to a real competitive dancer in less than a year! There is hip hop, ballet, acrobatics, jazz and more! This way, kids get a well rounded dance experience and technique. Studio teachers do challenge all kids and encourage them to get better. In less than a year, my daughter has improved tremendously and takes much pride in her progress!! The teachers are very supportive and are always ready to put in the extra time with both kids and parents. Always open to answer questions and discuss any issues. There are older dancers who support and teach younger ones, which creates unity and closeness between all members of the studio. My 11 year old feels comfortable asking her teachers for guidance and advice about dance, but also about her life in general. It has been an incredible experience and we only joined this year! My daughter loves spending hours on end at the studio. She made several close friends which makes training and competitions super fun. The original choreography, the stunning costumes, and the many many awards all reflect the commitment of the studio in having their kids succeed. I would recommend this place to any families who are interested in having kids build strong dance skills, improve confidence and build healthy self esteem. All in an energetic, fit, kind, fun community!
