This place is clean and all of the machines work. The staff is very helpful. You put money on a card and you can get it for free if you sign up with your email. They also have an app to operate the machines if you want. Watch out, they only accept cash to load the card. They have an atm in there that costs $2 to withdraw cash. It’s $2.95 for a wash cycle and dryers are free after 6 pm on weekdays. You get bonus points for how many times you buy a cycle. The points are used for the free drying after 6 pm on weekdays. They have TVs and WiFi too. Hope this helps!

dependable laundromat in Alphabet City. dropped several pieces of clothing over the years for tailoring / sewing repairs. the tailoring has always turned out well and the work was quality. the prices seems fair to me (PLUS, i can’t sew nor can anyone i know and that my friends is why we live in services-dominated economy! Ha) anyway, the laundromat offers drop-off laundry as well as dry-cleaning services. the place seems pretty busy as i always see people doing their laundry or waiting for it be done. the service has always been fast and friendly. it’s a great plus to Alphabet City

Had my Lulu pants and shorts stolen from wash and fold. Went to management and they said they will take a look and give me a call and never heard back. otherwise decent place, just be careful not to have any expensive items in your wash and fold loads.

UPDATE: In addition, to the sketchy wash times times, they only wash your items in cold water despite selecting warm or hot. I went today and chose warm for one machine and hot for another, and in each instance was only given cold water in the prewash, main wash and rinse cycles. I thought it was only my machines so I asked the person next to me who had also chose hot water and their water was cold while in the main wash cycle. And to the owner who responded to my review by stating that I need to be more careful in choosing my wash times, please don't blame your faulty machines on me. I have been washing at this location since it's opening and transferring of ownership and management. I am more than aware of the changes that have been made to short change the customers. Customers beware, the machines do not give you the full times that the employees say that the machines are supposed to wash for. I used 2 big machines, and when I paid, it said they were to wash for 28 minutes. After a minute, one machine dropped to 25 minutes and the other to 20 minutes. When I asked the employee, he stated that the machines were supposed to wash for 24 minutes regardless of the size of the machines. So there is something definitely fishy about these machines not giving you adequate wash times.

They lost my white towel from target, 10 bucks and they would not make it right, extremely overpriced for the level of service provided. I think they just stole the towel, they said they use em for rags or something.
