Amazing driving school and very affordable, strongly recommend! The instructor helped me understand every aspect of the road test, I really could have not passed the test without their help! Everyone at the office is very friendly, the communication is really smooth, and they are willing to adapt the scheduling of lesson and road test dates even in very tight time frames. 5 stars definitely!

Great driving school with fair pricing! I took most of my lessons with Mr. Chen (and a few with Mr. Fok), and both were super helpful—not just for passing the test, but for actually learning how to drive in real life. I’m not the fastest learner when it comes to driving, but they were patient and thorough, and I passed the exam. Would definitely recommend!

Mr. Chen is a great instructor! Very affordable + no frills but he/ office staff will answer whatever questions you have. Scheduling can be hard sometimes but they’re very communicative and will send reminder texts. If you have more complicated scheduling, call over texting.

I switched to Canal driving school from another Chinatown driving school . It was great ! I only had 6 lessons with instructor, Mr Chen, he is very efficient and helpful in getting your road test done. I passed with ease on my 2nd attempt . As for their pricing is the most competitive, no hidden costs or whatsoever . Honest and professional school that you can trust.

I felt like the teachers could have done a better job at guiding me through how to master the driving skills I needed to pass. At times, I felt like they were very impatient when I failed to master a skill within a certain number of times and were not good at teaching me how to fix my mistakes to do better. Nevertheless, their pricing was pretty reasonable compared to other places in the area. They were also good at working around my schedule to ensure I did have adequate practice before my driving test dates.
