Quick question—does Carnegie Hill Imaging for Women allow the use of Momitalk for ultrasound video storage?
This place is great!! I’ve been to a few practices in the city and this was by far the most comfortable and most professional of them all. Short wait time to be seen and the room was clean and large. Shoutout to Nicole and Dr. Fox for really making my experience positive. The staff is friendly and I felt comfortable asking any and all questions during my appointment. I didn’t feel rushed at all, either. 100% recommend!
The BEST!!! Everyone here is so incredibly kind and caring, from the front desk to the techs to the docs. I had two high risk pregnancies so I had to have MANY scans at Carnegie, and never once did I have to wait longer than maybe five minutes to be seen. They’re always on time, always friendly, and overall just such a great team. I’m so grateful I was able to go here instead of my hospital for my weekly scans!!
I am a new patient splitting my time between NYC and OKC. I loved the cleanliness of the facility and the care I received. I also chose to do a genetics test. I hope all my future care is handled in this practice.
The doctors are absolutely amazing. The BIGGEST issue is their billing department. I will never go back here because of the billing. They are the rudest people I have ever talked to in my life. I have never gotten a bill that reflected what I actually owed--they would give me an arbitrary number that I was responsible to pay for at each visit and I wouldn't be allowed to be seen by a doctor if I didn't pay it. Can you imagine?? I had enough stress with my high risk pregnancy and I was being refused service if I didn't pay a random amount. They offer that you can call their billing office before you are seen (and risk losing your appt time), and in my experience all that did was get the lady on the phone to knock off a random amount that I owed for that visit. I have already paid over $1,200 for these claims but now they are saying I owe another $1,000. I know I owe $600 more, but I refuse to pay it until they show that their logs reflect the same. For the last 6 months, I have been waiting for my UHC claims and their balance to reflect the amount I truly owe and it never has. Every time I call, Carnegie either puts me on hold and hangs up on me, or tells me the supervisor is out to lunch and they just never have them call me back. UHC called them and got hung up on. When they finally connected, I was told it would all be figured out.....NOPE! So I called back today and am met with a block to supervisor. I called one of their offices to see if I could have the department's address to go in person and settle and they refuse to give that information. I am so fed up with them. When I finally got someone again on the phone today, they AGAIN couldn't even make heads or tails of their system and told me to call back later. I will NEVER use the services here again because of the billing. I have no problem paying any amount necessary to make sure my baby was okay. I DO have a problem with a billing department trying to get more money out of me and hide it in confusing billing statements. If I could be connected to a supervisor, I would complain to them....but alas, they will never connect me to one. Update: I got a call back and the woman who helped me was able to sort through each scan, what it cost after insurance, what I already paid and what I owed. And found that, YES, they were charging me $300 more than what I owed them. For the supervisors/whoever is looking at this post--thank you for finally noticing me, and to Samantha-thank you for your help today. I am still so frustrated that this took months of unanswered help for what one person was able to fix today. Meanwhile, because of Carnegie, this bill has been put into collection services and you have tanked my credit score. So because of your error, I have to pay for it for years to come. You have caused more stress than you will ever know and I will never use any service affiliated with Carnegie Imaging.
