Cary is the BEST! He's so, so easy to work with as a client, and has been in the industry a long time so he knows how to get you the best deal possible. I trusted Cary to help me buy and sell my condo, and I was beyond pleased with both transactions. I will definitely use Cary again for my next purchase!

In theory, I could have sold my apartment without a broker. But I hired Cary anyway, because I was worried about some of the logistics—I'd had a previous FSBO deal fall through—and I am so glad I did. Not only is he a joy to work with, he is so knowledgeable, dedicated, and patient. He advised me on necessary improvements to my apartment, on pricing, and (of course) handled the ensuing bids. I'd truly never have been able to do it without him. From now on, whenever someone I know talks about trying to sell their apartment without a broker, I'm going to advise them to hire Cary (and only Cary!) instead.

A more accurate rating for Cary would be 10 out of 5 stars because he genuinely goes above and beyond for his clients. He's an expert in his field and makes the buying/selling/leasing process accessible and easy to understand. He does the heavy lifting throughout any transaction, taking great care to make sure any concerns you have are promptly addressed to your satisfaction. I've recommended him to family, friends and complete strangers who are in need of a real estate broker in the area. There are certainly many brokers to choose from but the level of service, responsiveness and attention to detail you'll receive from Cary Tamura places him in a league above the rest. I can't recommend him enough and am truly grateful for all he's done for my family.

Cary was extremely patient with me throughout my search, which I appreciated as it took me a long time to find my perfect apartment! But he never seemed to get frustrated and was as cheerful and positive when we saw the 25th apartment as he was when we viewed the first. (Perhaps it has to do with the fact that he's also a well-known, longtime teacher of meditation?) Cary gave me his honest opinion on the places we saw, pointing out issues I likely wouldn't have noticed until it was too late (lack of natural light; possibility of construction next door, etc), if I hadn't had his wise counsel. He also held my hand through what turned out to be an arduous coop approval process. I truly would not be moving into my dream apartment (which ended up having all the features I wanted in my new home, such as outdoor space and a doorman) without his help. I was so happy working with Cary and his team that I've already recommended him to three different friends, all of whom have had equally wonderful experiences working with him. And I contracted him to sell my existing apartment once I found my new place. I can't say enough good things about Cary Tamura and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a new home in New York City. Quite simply, he is the best!

The best in the business. I worked with Cary on a recent purchase of a new home in Brooklyn, and he provided expertise and amazing service throughout the long process. He was patient and supportive during the long search, and offered sage advice at every stage. He was immediately responsive whenever we needed anything. Once we found a place, Cary navigated many complex hurdles with the seller and negotiated superbly. We were able to get a fantastic deal directly due to his efforts and understanding of the seller’s position. In addition, I was so impressed with Cary, that I asked him to make a presentation to my entire building (20 unit co-op) about the state of the RE market. He spent over an hour educating us on the nuances of the RE sale/purchase process and sharing insights about the neighborhood supply/demand stats. In addition to being an amazing agent, he proved to be a valuable advisor to our board and shareholders. This led to shareholders in the building using him to sell their apartments. Watching this process I saw the care and skill he used during that process, taking time to know all the key aspects of the building, organizing expert staging and photos and even a drone video and website! He was diligent and effective during all the open houses and found a great buyer. Plus, he’s super friendly and genuinely great to work with. I will 100% work with him again on any future purchase/sales. If you want the best, you need to work with the best, and that’s Cary.
