Exceptional experience, everybody at Champion Auto was very nice, understanding and encouraging. The owner Jose is terrific at his job. He helped me get a another test date only 6 days after failing the first time. The whole staff really wants you to succeed! Definitely the best driving school in Brooklyn, they offer the best test sites and are very accommodating for dates! They helped me get my license in one month and only 6 lessons thanks to friendly and experienced instructors (Jose and Veronica) that gave me useful driving tips. I would recommend Champion Auto to anybody regardless of your driving level.

My journey was a bit different than most driving students. I was a previous driver who's license expired a number of years ago. When I finally decided to get my driver's license again it was a bit daunting at first. It required that I start from scratch, take the learners permit test, attend the 5 hour class, take driving classes and then take my road test. I was a little shaky at first on the road but Jose was a patient teacher who helped to bolster my confidence. Thanks to him I passed my road test today. I'm officially a licensed driver again. I highly recommend Champion, those 7 classes were worth every penny.

I am so thankful to everyone at Champion Auto School for making learning how to drive and coordinating all of the different aspects that go into preparing students how to drive (setting up road test date, 5 hour online instruction, and of course, providing exceptional lessons). I got the 10 class package and came into the lessons wanting to learn how to drive but also boosting confidence. All of my teachers were thoughtful in how they gave me feedback which helped my confidence immensely. I passed the road test on the first try and I could not have done so without the team's support. Jose and his team are top notch and I would definitely recommend this school for anyone looking to drive (whether it is their first time or not). Scheduling was super easy and the team accommodating. Got the 12 lessons package with a great price and passed on my first try. There are some things that I think can be improved: - Consistent scheduling, as there were many times where I was not able to get back to back lessons - Changes in instructor happened frequently for my first 5 lessons, but after that I had the same instructor for the rest of the lessons.

Horrible experience here. A friend recommended me here because he said the instructors were good and he passed on the first test. A complete opposite to the type of experience my friend had. The owners don’t open the actual building they used as their office anymore so instead you have to wait in front of the school for them to pick you up. Mind you they don’t care if it’s freezing outside or anything you have to wait for them to come and pick you up in the rickety, run down cars they choose to give you. Very unprofessional if you ask me. Aswell as doing this Jose, who’s one of the instructors, would also have his phone connected to the cars infotainment system so occasionally his phone would blast through the speakers and he’ll be answering calls or emails while on your lesson. Most importantly however, I took 11 lessons as part of the 11 lesson package practicing using a black Toyota Camry and then on the day of my road test he decided to set me up for the test with a white Nissan Sentra. Now you can say that every car has a different feel etc. But this white Nissan Sentra has a very, very sensitive acceleration pedal and i guarantee you anyone who has used that car for the first time has hit the gas too hard and has sent the car flying. The instructors even know about this as their other instructor, Hugh, joked to me on the day of the road test that they had another student who was setup with the same Nissan Sentra but he had no experience with it. So the test starts and the student obviously got messed up because of the gas pedal and ended up failing in about 10 seconds. The instructors found that funny and I’m not sure if that student decided to proceed with champion auto school after that point but if he did I’m sure they told him he would have to pay another 120$ to schedule another test just like they did to me. 100% would not recommend anyone going here until these guys start to act like actual professionals or they fix the many problems wrong with this place.
