It was such a gift when our family stumbled into Master Koo’s tae kwon do studio. We didn’t seek out his instruction, a friend of ours took our then four year-old with them while their child was participating and immediately our daughter was interested and asked to join in after seeing all the excitement on the mat. We signed up for a full years’ worth of classes and have never looked back. Our daughter takes class twice a week in the evenings after a very long day at school and no matter what her day has been like, she is full of excitement and energy and willingness to learn within the space. We have seen her confidence bloom, her ability to take direction and receive feedback in a way that no other learning setting has provided for her up to this point. Master Koo is a delight with the children. They look to him for so much joy, and also greatly respect him and his feedback which is always given in a way that’s constructive and loving. We’ve shared the studio with many other families and genuinely the response has been the same. Kids of all ages and abilities seem to thrive in the setting, and we can’t recommend it enough!

We love coming to Champions every week! Master Koo is a wonderful instructor - patient and informative, kind and professional. Our child is a big fan and so are we :)

This is one of the most incredible communities we’ve experienced as a family, and we’re so incredibly grateful for the opportunity every week to step into the dojang, support other families and children, and learn from Master Koo! This is absolutely one of the best decisions we’ve made as a family and we’re so excited for the future!!

We absolutely love Master Koo’s Little Tiger class! Our son took a few classes to start listening and following instructions, which is exactly what we were hoping to work on. Now he listens to Master Koo, follows directions, and is so proud to have received his belt and to receive his award stickers every class. We’ve had nothing but a wonderful experience in Master Koo’s class. It’s so heartwarming to see the older kids helping the younger ones, and we’ve really enjoyed making new friends and being under Master Koo’s guidance. Our son is learning respect, kindness, and how to be good to his friends, family, and his sister. Not to mention, it is so much fun watching the kids learn and grow. We couldn’t ask for a better person to help our son!

We absolutely love this location and it’s all thanks to Master Koo! He strikes the perfect balance of being warm and encouraging while also maintaining discipline, helping instill confidence, respect, and life skills in the kids. My daughter looks forward to Taekwondo every week and attends the Little Tigers class. Master Koo has a remarkable ability to engage young children and make learning both fun and meaningful. They also offer a trial class before signing up, which was a great way for us to experience the program firsthand. The community here is welcoming and supportive, and it truly feels like a place where kids can grow and thrive.
