Chong Qing Noodle 重庆小面

The food is incredibly fresh and yummy! I got the beef and pickled cabbage, and the sourness is a great complement to the oil and spice. The beef is fried up to be a little crispy, and along with the peanuts, are a nice textural balance to the noodles.

Directions: Inside the New World Mall, on the Basement Level C, found in the food court to the left of the escalator in between The Korean Restaurant and Yozl. Keep in mind, they take CASH ONLY! Experience: Noodle soups were absolutely delicious. I got the Sour and Spicy Noodle Soup with Pork Intestines along with a Sour Fish Soup with rice (both pictured below). Proportion and taste was perfect. My family got the other noodle soup options which were also all delightful - I don't think you can go wrong. You may get interrupted multiple times while you eat by people asking for money though.

Actually they have the best noodle in New York I've ever patronized. I love their chongqing noodle soup. They don't really need reviews toshow people how amazing their food tastes, just try it once and you will love it. I come here almost twice a months.

Great place to get some Chongqing style noodles and sides. The ice jelly is also really refreshing after a bit of spice. Perfect for a cool down! Service is nice and super quick as well.

Rating: 8/10 Date Last Visited: 8/29/2025 I ordered the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup ($13). The soup came with a huge variety of toppings, including beef, fish cakes, egg, veggies, and other things. The beef itself was tender and cooked well and the other toppings added to the overall tastiness of the soup. The soup itself was good, but a bit too spicy to drink a lot on its own. This place is located in New World Mall food court and cash only, so prepare in advance before coming. Overall, I would recommend this place if you want a quick meal in the Flushing food court.
