I recently tried Chopin Noodle House inside the 99 Ranch food court in Flushing, and it’s become one of those spots I’d happily go back to again and again. They specialize in hand-pulled Lanzhou noodles made fresh to order, and you can really taste the difference. The chili oil noodles were super fragrant with garlic and chili, spicy but balanced, while the Lanzhou beef noodles had great wok flavor, generous toppings, and chewy noodles with a satisfying hand-pulled texture. The cold dishes were just as good—the sliced beef shank was tender and well-seasoned, the Liangpi was tangy and refreshing with a nice sesame and chili kick, and the pickled veggies added a crunchy, palate-cleansing bite. Prices are very reasonable by NYC standards (around $11–13 per bowl), with plenty of noodle styles and sides to choose from.

This place is really good featuring hand pulled noodles from northeastern China. I really enjoyed the classic noodle soup, dry mixed noodle, and sour soup dumplings 🥟! The pickles are also really refreshing. 💯 recommend

Stopped by the food court under 99 Ranch and tried this noodle spot. Perfect place for a hot bowl of noodles, especially in colder weather. You can choose the noodle thickness, which is a nice detail. The peppercorn beef noodle soup was very aromatic with a clear numbing peppercorn flavor, but not overly spicy. The broth was comforting and warming. The Lanzhou stir-fried noodles had good wok flavor. The noodles weren’t sticky and had a nice chewy texture. The seasoning was balanced and easy to finish. We also ordered a few cold dishes. The pickled vegetables in chili oil were lightly sour and spicy, good for cutting through the richness. The cold sliced beef shank was firm but tender, simply seasoned and flavorful. The liangpi had a smooth, chewy texture and was refreshing with cucumber. Overall, solid and satisfying noodle dishes without being overcomplicated. A good option if you’re nearby and want something warm and filling.

The beef is juicy, the noodles are chewy, and the sauce is flavorful! Warm soups are perfect for winter time!

Loved the hand-pulled noodles — chewy, fresh, and made to order. Simple menu but everything tasted solid. A great spot for a warm bowl of noodles.
