All the bad reviews are from children who simply put, just didn't like learning there. They choose to blame their lack of motivation to learn and do their homework on the learning center. One said that there were high schoolers teaching, that was probably because they were volunteering, also do you think a high schooler isn't qualified to help 8 year old's with homework? Another said they waited hours in the hallway for their parents, what else are you supposed to do? That's your parents fault so kids, stop blaming it on the learning city.

This place is HORRIBLE because me and my brother was in this afterschool and let’s just say we had a horrible experience. The “teachers” i dont think they are teaching anything they just tell the answer which is bad because children will not be able to understand and explain. my brother got in trouble because Mr. John made him copy a WHOLE chapter book for being accused by talking while eating chocolate like that is a human function. And even if one person gets in trouble all of us also gets in trouble and the punishment is brutal. We had to copy 20 words 25 TIMES my god damn hand is falling off. One time I had a teacher that glazed girls and let them be on their devices but for boys Thats a whole different story. Sometimes we get in trouble for the smallest things or even nothing. So overall this afterschool is the worst but, I recommend the bright way afterschool it is really good trust me.

If I could give this place a -5 out of 100 I would. A family member of mine went to this tutoring center and faced corporal punishment, children were told to stand in the hallways for hours at a time with their arms up facing the wall along with verbal abuse. The children would be cussed out by the "teachers" and staff for things as simple as not knowing how to do homework. This is completely unacceptable especially in NYC, this was suppose a safe place of learning for our children. We pay good money and entrust our children to learn and be taken care of, not be abused. The "teachers" and staff who committed these crimes to be arrested and this place needs to be completely reformed or shut down. If you are considering leaving your children here, i strongly advise against that if you truly love your children. P.S. They also don't have simple proper hygiene products such as toilet paper or soap, a truly filthy place.

I am a student here and i don’t suggest you coming here my teacher here don’t let others talk but allows his favorite students to talk and they say that if you don’t finish there class work then you have to stay here. They also give out impossible class work sometimes like I’m at 5th grade and I was given a class work to do 2 pages of writing about something that was in like 9th or 8th grade like how does gravity affect humans and I have to write two pages about it. The teachers here also so gives the students nicknames that are mean and can cause mental illness. The names are like fatty patty or blob fish or others. The teachers there also pushs students when he /she is angry. The teachers also yells at the students. The center also if you don’t finish the class work it doubles or even more the next day. The teacher of 201 lets other students or his favorite students take pictures of other students.

Worst place ever. My parents had to pay 250-600 dollars per month depending on your grade. And the service is horrible. One of the "teachers" use gauth AI to write eassies. The teachers are 8th grade+. Not even full grown adults. The staff is nice but Mr. Daniel glazes the girls and let them monitor us. My eardrums almost broke from their screaming and that isn't a joke. The prinpcal "uncle" john forces us to copy chapter books for just TALKING. Me my friend gavin, another daniel, ming all hated this school.
