CityMD Corona Urgent Care - Queens

Today I had an unexpected emergency and needed urgent medical care. When I called for information, the person who answered was incredibly friendly and immediately invited me to come in to see the doctor. Dr. Kwiatkowski, Timothy MD and his assistant received me with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care. They did an amazing job making me feel safe, calm, and well taken care of during a stressful moment. I am truly grateful for their compassion and excellent service. Thank you so much to all of them!

Great experience at CityMD. The staff was friendly and professional, and the doctor took the time to listen to my concerns and explain everything clearly. I was seen quickly and felt well taken care of. Highly recommend this location.

I've been to this location a few times and have had mix experiences. The one last Friday was great. From the reception team at the Junction Blvd location, and the team at the Main Street/Roosevelt Avenue location (was sent to this one for an x-ray), everyone was super nice and professional. But the best has been the doctors. This last visit was Dr. Christian Zhang. Dr. Zhang was amazing. Took my situation seriously and insisted I go to another location to get chest x-rays. He called the new location to speak with them and let them know I was on my way; then told them to keep me there until he could read the results. After he read the results, he called there and asked to speak with me. He explained everything and was really assuring. Turns out I had bronchitis and I was being dismissive; so glad I went. Thank you Dr. Zhang. Amazing beside manner!

Had a really odd encounter with a male “scribe” at this office. All was well when the appointment started, took my vitals all that and I was able to see the doctor. After the doctor was no longer in the room and I say this because well, maybe he wouldn’t have been so insistent on this if someone else was present. He said he needed my phone to write down a LOT number from a vaccine I got over 10 years ago which also was something he could’ve written down but instead was so insistent on taking MY phone out of the room and asked me for my password incase my phone locked and he couldn’t write down the data. I told him “why don’t you just write it down on your glove” and suddenly he no longer needed my phone and said he would do it for me again on Friday (today) for my follow up, which I won’t be comfortable going to and will be missing due to his odd behavior. I felt cornered and I’m honestly glad my phone locked while he had it because he had came back to ask me for my password AGAIN and that’s when I got a weird feeling and wanted to leave. This isn’t the first time he did this too. My sister who also visits this clinic experienced this as well. When I had asked her if she’d ever had to hand her phone over she said “oh that man asked me for my phone too” back in January so not long ago. What’s the problem? Why is he asking people to hand them their phones and passwords? That’s concerning because I’m sure a-lot of people don't think much of it but that’s a violation of privacy and in a situation like that most people might be too anxious to speak up and say NO. I’ve reported this to the manager of the staff at this office two days ago and as well to CITYmd help line and no one has reached out to me to follow up or even identify this odd man’s behavior. Now I’m too annoyed/anxious to visit this clinic for my follow up or any city Md for that matter since they rotate staff. Do not recommend this location if this man is going to continue asking woman for their personal password and phone. **Editing my review to add that as of 2/27 I’m yet to have any sort of follow up regarding this employee and his behavior. Wasn’t asked the information of my sister who saw him within a month of this happening to myself or given any other details. The only call I received was when I basically asked them to update me and I was told regardless, that I wouldn’t know the outcome of this situation anyway.

The reception at this place is appalling. I went in severe stomach pain, barely able to breathe, and they had the audacity to tell me I had to wait 20 minutes because of other appointments. How could I possibly wait in that condition? Their complete lack of urgency, empathy, and basic human decency is unacceptable. I am beyond disappointed and shocked at the way I was treated.
