I didn't know this was there

I Waited here for an hour in heavy snow for some friends of mine. My phone was dead and I was alone at 9pm. I had no communications and I though that was gonna be the end of me, I turned around and looked Confucius in the eye and then he spoke to me the writing on his plaque below “Thieves and lawless men no longer exist… and there is no need to shut your doors.” Through tung tung, Confucius told me I’ve waited In the snow already I will continue to wait. And so I did this time at piece for the rest of the hour

Friend's grandmother lives here.. Love ❤ the view from her windows. Seaport, the new Pier 17. Though the green lights distract and annoy. There was a fireworks show last night. That is really spectacular.

Easily the most poorly managed Commercial property landlords I have ever dealt with. The building has fallen into disrepair over the years as evident by perpetual leaks, broken elevators and faulty infrastructure (roof, hvac, pipes). If you are a commercial tenant, you should expect a little to no service when there are active leaks or much needed repairs. Expect the elevator to malfunction and repairs to require months to remedy. We complained when our elevator had broken but those complaints were met by deaf ears. It took nearly 4 months to repair an elevator. This poses not only a liability hazard but material impact to any business. Had I been aware of my legal rights, I would have contacted the NYC Buildings Department to report the issue. The management is extremely unhelpful often directing you to the building attorney for simple matters. The residential unit tenants will often leave their water running causing leaks to the lower level commercial units. Expect an active leak every few months with no one to call and damage to your property. Again, little to no accountability for the disruption to your business. There is also a cockroach infestation we had to deal with for many years. Getting a return on a security deposit takes at least 6 months and rent renewal agreements can take up to a year with the tenant waiting in limbo making it difficult to plan as a business owner. The landlord will demand the retroactive increase from a year ago-even though the delay was a result of their slothfulness. I'm not sure if these tactics are even legal but clearly there is inactive/inconsiderate management. A horrible experience. So glad we and all the other tenants moved.
