Andre, Kalli, Paul, and Gabi are amazing salsa instructors. This school is all about technique technique technique - and FUN! I’m so happy with how much I’ve learned on the dance floor, and coming to the monthly socials feels like the best way to practice while also hanging with friends from this awesome community!

Beautiful studio with lots of space, varied offerings (salsa at multiple levels, bachata, tango, cumbia and more). Classes for children and adults. Very proud to dance with the ladies team, with opportunities to perform around NYC and beyond. Instruction is top notch and the instructors support your personal goals, whether it is to be able to dance at parties or perform on stages.

We had a great experience at Cucala! My daughter first did their summer camp, and it was full of activities, not only dance. We also tried the Chiquis dance program, the experience was amazing! The end of the year show highlighted all their hard work and dedication to the performing arts. Overall, great community and we’ll come back!

amazing company and instructors! i just finished taking salsa 102 and i’ll be continuing salsa 103. instructors are super thorough and very considerate and open to answering any questions. they also have a monthly social which is a plus! highly highly recommend
