I found this spot through Yelp and instantly booked an appointment with Elena after seeing her work. I showed her a picture of what I want, and she delivered. She is very attentive to detail and very skilled at what she does. My current set is pushing 5 weeks and none of the nails are lifting. That speaks volume. You essentially paying for the quality of work, worth every penny.

Been coming here for 15 years plus. Linda is a sweet heart. Michael and Tom do killing designs. Lucy does all my pedicures. Best at taking out ingrown if you have.

I went to DJ nails on Thursday and got the builder gel set done by an older lady who sits in the back. This set is $90 so it is a little expensive but builder gel is to strengthen your natural nails which is what I needed after constantly having acrylic nails, so I did not mind paying. Sadly by Saturday 2 of my nails had lifted and begun to crack. By Monday they had come off. I was disappointed so I called and they were willing to fix it. The guy who fixed my set, Mike was polite and helpful. He actually redid all my nails to ensure this would not happen again and even enhanced the color at no extra charge. He told me if any other problem happens to just come in again. I appreciate that and his customer service.

I was traveling from out of town to visit family here in nyc. A family member recommended me to do my nails here and I was very disappointed. Mike was rude, didn’t listen to what I requested and pretty much did what he wanted. I didn’t get the shape I wanted nor the color. My nails lasted for less than a week before it started chipping. I wouldn’t go to him. He doesn’t care to do a good job. Worst SNS I’ve ever gotten! I did get a pedicure as well, and the lady who did mine was really sweet.

Had the worst experience today with the lady in the front. I had an appointment with TOM and since he was already busy with someone else she sent me to another woman. I don't know why when I specifically requested him. My nails came out uneven, choppy and chunky. I asked for the dip powder with tips and this isn't to shame or embarrass the nail tech but I don't think she was experienced with this. When I took the photos I attached I literally had just left the salon and couldn’t believe what I left with. I paid $75 for this insane job where my thumb looks insane. Not only that but the woman in the front told me to go to the atm because the tap machine wasn't working???? Girl? So instead she tells me to Zelle her and still charged me the surcharge fee as if I paid with credit card oa. This place doesn't value hygiene, honest work and it's always rushed and a hot mess. Clearly a money grab and I’ve been going here for years so I’m well aware of how service has always been.
