Dallas BBQ Rego Park

Me and my partner had a lovey time! We did go on Christmas Eve so there were limited staff but Adam (our server) was AMAZING! He was very welcoming, attentive, and kind! And the food was very yummy and would definitely recommend :))

First time here. I was worried we would be waiting for awhile because a large group was ahead of us, but we were seated promptly. Our waitress, Tia was a real sweetheart and very helpful. I didn’t appreciate seeing the manager or whoever that was giving her an issue in front of customers ,very unprofessional. She was definitely one of the best servers I’ve ever dealt with. The food was great, came out quick and the cocktails were great. I thought they’d be watered down and sugary but they were good. The only thing I that wasn’t in tip top shape was the restroom. But that happens. I will definitely be back.

The food is tasty. Portions are huge, so come ready to eat, share, or ask for a to go bag. The service was a little slow but not unbearably so.

Place is okay. Be prepared to pay a LOT for small portions. Been here once and that was ENOUGH for experience. Ordered shrimp and fries to receiver around only 6-8 pieces. The price for that small amount is absolutely greedy. No thank you. Even Popeyes gives out more shrimp than this place. What makes this place 3 stars is respectfully only the drinks. Drinks are good. Probs the only good thing

This happened today. We had just gotten our appetizer and a waterbug crawled out and made its way up the pillar by our table. (should have taken a pic, but i was too busy making sure that thing didn't fly towards me)Tried not to freak out, but the other table next to us didn't help. Once that bug fell and ran across the booth past my niece and nephew, that's when I freaked out. Good thing my sister got up or else it would have landed on her. Pretty much lost my appetite after that and we asked for togo boxes once the rest of our food came. The server was apologetic and offered us free wings, but I did not agree with how the manager handled the situation. I heard him say that it could have flew in from outside. Sure, the waterbug flew from one door, to another closing door. It's possible. It's NYC. Understandable, but avoidable. Either way, that's not the answer you should have said. I didnt like his vibe. And yes, I saw you talking and looking at us to our server. Not once did you try to fix the situation. You just gave us this look like we were gonna run out on the bill or that we were overreacting. We still paid for the food ($300+) and took it home, but it kinda ruined a nice family outing. As a food worker myself, I want to say do a better job. At least apologize. Hire some exterminators and do some deep cleaning. Maybe you should also bring up to your bosses that having carpet may not be the best for your establishment.
