I used Day Translations to request a Spanish-speaking interpreter for a USCIS interview in NYC. Day Translations was super responsive with the quote and any questions I had. They assigned an interpreter quickly. Carola was excellent. She was on time and my mom (who needed the interpreter) was very happy with the service.

I want to share my negative experience with this company. I had a very important event in which I needed a translator. This was an interview that was extremely important to me and I wanted to do my best in it. 3 weeks prior to the date of my interview, which was 12/09/2025 I paid the full amount. In addition, I contacted them a few times before the date in order to confirm that the translator will arrive on time. They ensured me that the translator would arrive at the designated location on time and wait at the front door. My interview was scheduled for 10 AM. I arrived at the office at 9:30 and called them. After waiting for some time, nobody came. I called them and they told me they were unable to provide a translator. In that moment, I was extremely stressed and distraught. Afterwards, I called them and asked them to return my money because they didn’t provide me with a translator. I called them everyday and they told me I would get the refund but I didn’t hear back from them. I finally told them I would have to file a police complaint and sue the company if I didn’t get my money back. Two weeks after this, my money was finally returned. The lack of professionalism is unacceptable and nobody should have to go through this. To the people who are reading this, my statement is to bring awareness. I would advise you to carefully think before you put your trust in a company especially when it comes to serious events.

I recently used Day Translations to apostille both my mothers death certificate and my birth certificate. Unfortunately, they made a critical mistake by using a single seal for both documents, even though each one required a different entity. When I contacted them to address the issue, I was shocked that they wanted to charge me extra to correct their error. This experience was frustrating and felt like a scam. I would not recommend their services.
