Your food is great. I come here for the duck mainly and this time I decided to get other stuff to try. The fried rice, beef noodles chicken wings. Great stuff. This food goes great with beer. I recommend this spot

The raw meat is fresh, the marinated meats are tasty- the Thai style marinated chicken is very popular. I used to love the Szechuan beef shin but it's called something else now and the sauce looks and tastes different and is a lot pricier although that's not a surprise. We used to buy the cooked food when it goes on sale after a certain time but realized a few years ago (not this presidency) that they raised the prices and then discounted it so it's not that cheap anymore. Still it's the only place where I can get dark meat chicken deboned and skinned which saves me a lot of time. They also sell chicken and pork bones for soup and other Chinese grocery items that are sold in the other grocery stores but if you don't want to wade through the crowd there you can pick it up for a bit more (sauces, vegetables, etc). It's not the best but I'd rather DC market be around than not. I do appreciate their polite service most of the time.

Outrageous. Charlatans. I loved the shrimp and pork pasta in this store. And I always paid about $ 5 for such a box. This time I made a very large purchase at this store and did not check the receipt. Somehow magically, in a box that usually fits 1 pound, it fits almost 2.5 pounds. I overpaid somewhere 5-6 dollars for one such box with such a paste. I bought 4 of these boxes. That is, I was deceived by $ 20-24. Nightmare. Very disappointing. I have been a regular customer and have always bought a lot from it. In the photo there are boxes with shrimp pasta and next to it is the same box just with shrimps. The boxes are the same, the contents are almost the same and the weight is different. How did it happen?

It's unfortunate that one star is the least I can give. Today, my mom wants me to bring home some flat rice noodles. Those being referred as "肠粉/河粉" that is packaged in the clear plastic bags in the store, placed in front of the hot foods. I bought two bags along with the other items, and it was just 10 something in the morning, far from 11 o'clock. When I got home within the next hour, my mom couldn't wait to cook them, and sadly to find out only when it's cooked that these noodles had gone bad! The taste was obviously off and bitter sour. My mom made a phone call to them explaining the issue, and was told that we have to bring back to them the noodles within the same day of purchase even though it's cooked and in the trash. The cost of the two bags of noodles were only $3, but the point we're trying to make is food safety concerns and how irresponsible they are. So I would not waste my time for simply $3, but I felt as if I was at wrong from their reaction over the phone as I was next to my mother during the phone call. They questioned us a lot, including to ask when we bought it. After my mom told them just 10 something in the morning, they repeatedly said that the noodles are delivered to them every morning fresh. We didn't feel like arguing over the phone because there's no point. This just brings us to another level of frustration, if you're saying your food is fresh, why are the two bags I brought at just 10 in the morning went bad? Are these noodles going bad in an instant? All of a sudden, I felt as if I was the one at wrong. This is a horrible horrible experience. I know that they have another location in Chinatown, perhaps go there in the future instead since I don't live close to this location anyways. I really don't like the way I felt about this. I don't feel comfortable with the food here anymore and with the bad custom service I experienced.

Sadly, the food that sells here are not fresh all the time as other person reviewed with the flat noodles. I bought some beef and after 20 minutes preparing to cook it, I realized that the meat is dark and has a really bad smell. They really need to improve the quality control otherwise people can get food poisoned.
