To say that Lida changed my life would be an understatement. I never tried acupuncture before and I had a lot of preconceived notions about it. I quickly realized how wrong those ideas were and how the treatments go way deeper than the needles. Lida worked with me on my fertility, balance, prenatal care, vitamins, and also heart body and soul work. Basically, a whole body experience! Lida is my feminine guru! I've never felt healthier or more balanced in my life. Thanks to the supplements and treatments I never had one day of nausea or pain throughout my entire pregnancy. Lida also guided me on better nutritional options,in addition to being a great mommy resource. Lida is knowledgeable, nurturing, and precise with her execution. Its not a one size fits all with her. I have had a few acupuncture experiences in the past but my session at De’Qi Health was the best by far. The atmosphere was warm with clean simple designs. Lida is a gifted healer and great listener. There is something difficult to put into words about her touch— her hands emanate empathy and assuredness with therapeutic confidence. There’s an overwhelming sense of being holistically cared for. Yet Lida’s style is clear and direct, not “woo woo.” I was under a lot of stress and undergoing some major life transitions when I went to see her, plus my body was fighting a cold yet I was not sleeping well. I left my session momentarily energized but then slept for nearly 18 hours afterward. Lida and her staff checked in on me and provided useful herbs and supplements with clear email instructions. Whether you have had lots of experience with acupuncture and eastern medicine or very little, you will not regret putting yourself in her capable hands.

Lida Ahmady is a remarkable human being and healer from a remarkable family. I am so blessed to know her. I went to her with some physical issues but also a surfeit of melancholia. Her acupuncture is much more than needles, though of course she's expert in that. It's given in a beautiful Zen space with Lida inserting them with a compassion and empathy that is truly nurturing. One encounters then a long, soothing rest. It's a wonderful, healing experience.

Lida is truly a breath of fresh air! Not only is she an exceptionally skilled and knowledgable acupuncturist, but she actually takes the time to understand the root cause behind your ailments. As a busy mom, I'm always so grateful when I'm able to find time to see her. She cares for your entire mind, body, and soul. I feel lucky to have crossed paths with her as both a practitioner and a human.

After 5 years of being Lida's patient, I can write an honest review of how she transformed my life through her knowledge of Chinese Medicine and ability to be a true healer. Originally I had sought an acupuncturist for help to release the pain in my right wrist for tendinitis. Lida was recommended and the healing I received was for my whole body and mind. She is fully present in every session and listens attentively beyond the words that you convey to her in conversation. I continued to see her after my wrist healed and she has helped me calm my mind, open my heart, and clear my respiratory and digestive issues time and time again. The strength and clarity of her intuition has helped me in so many areas in my life and I whole heartedly trust her. The best moments of rest and relaxation in my life have been in her office after she needles me and allows my body to receive the healing.
