I’ve been coming here for over a year and Lyudmila has made look and feel absolutely amazing every time. We connect, we collaborate, and it’s just the most enjoyable experience at a salon in NYC.

I’ve been to Dlala salon several times over the years now and every time has been a great experience. Yutaka has been my stylist each time but everyone there seems very professional and friendly. The salon itself is beautiful and very clean, and my haircuts are always exactly what I’m looking for. Yutaka is friendly, tells me what will (and won’t!) look good, and always delivers! Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thank you Dlala and Yutaka!

The owner told me to call the Columbia Rd. location and ask for Jenny almost five years ago when I was looking for a Sunday appointment…it was a match made in heaven! Jenny es la mejor!! She urged me to go natural and my hair has grown to mid-back! She is also the stylist for my teenage twin daughters and younger daughter. From blow drying, to traditional weaves, to u-part wig installs, Jenny does it all…and very very well! My hair is consistently fly!!

I cannot recommend Lyudmila at Dlala Salon enough! She is absolutely amazing with short hair and pixie cuts. She took the time to really understand what I wanted, and the result completely exceeded my expectations. It’s honestly the best haircut of my life. The cut is sharp, flattering, and so easy to style day-to-day — and it somehow looks even better as it grows out. Lyudmila’s skill, attention to detail, and genuine passion for her work really show in every snip. If you’re looking for a stylist who truly gets short hair and delivers a cut that makes you feel fresh and confident, Lyudmila is the one.

Ended up being one of the worst cuts I’ve gotten in my life. I needed to have it fixed somewhere else. Uneven side bangs (one side was shorter than the other) and really choppy layers for $120. My hair was very thick and nice before this and this is what my hair looked like after
