DOGMA does it all. Immediately impressed with the staff. Very welcoming, professional and organized! The vibe is personable that puts me at peace knowing my 4yr old King Charles Cavalier is well taken care of. Convenient location for the West Village. Their initial processing is quick and thorough and they offer grooming, daycare, boarding with no cages, dog walking, treadmill, exercising, and lots of play with other dogs. Royal came back to me with a huge smile, energized and playful. He was leaping on the walk home. I love that he’s making friends with other dogs in a safe and healthy environment. They sell high quality dog treats making it very convenient when I run out! They do it all. Thank you for taking great care of him.

We love Dogma! My dog Otto has been going for agility, daycare and a regular nail trim for a little while now and it’s become his favorite place! Always pulling to go inside! Michael the agility trainer is the best too, he helped Otto break out of his shell and enjoy social playtime, all while honing his agility skills.

I can personally attest to the fact that Dogma takes amazing care of all of the dogs in their care. The staff, management and owners are very knowledgeable about dogs and willing to go above and beyond to make your pup feel safe and at home. They truly love the dogs as if they are their own. Would not trust anywhere else with my pups!

Sailor has been coming to Dogma for daycare, agility class and grooming for many years now. His groomer Jamie does an awesome job, and he loves the agility classes, pulling on his leash to head inside as we get close by. Thanks to all the team for looking after the pups! 🐾

I took my Shih tzu to Dogma in the West Village after reading all the reviews about Shiro. He is a fantastic dog groomer in the city, and trusting him with my puppy has been one of the best decisions I’ve made as a pet guardian. My little Miso came home looking absolutely perfect, just as importantly, relaxed and happy. Shiro’s attention to detail is unmatched – the cut was even, face and paws are beautifully shaped, and he somehow made my dog look cuter than she already is. Shiro is the kind of groomer you build your schedule around because the result was outstanding. I could not recommend him more highly to anyone who truly loves their dog. Their professionalism that Stephanie and Michael showed in our interaction was fantastic. They listen carefully and answer all my questions (I had so many lol) patiently. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals in their care, treating each dog and guardian with kindness, patience, and respect rather than rushing through appointments. Overall, they turned a routine visit into a positive experience, and their combination of skill, empathy, and great communication is a big part of why this place is so easy to recommend.
