I’ve been coming to this salon every other month for my haircuts and always have a wonderful experience. Harris is incredibly nice, attentive, and truly skilled — I always leave feeling happy with my haircut. The reception team, Jessie and Yucheng, are also super welcoming and make the whole visit feel warm and comfortable. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great service and a friendly atmosphere!

I absolutely love coming to this salon!! I’ve been here so many times that I’ve become a regular. I highly recommend the stylist Sam. He’s extremely professional and always understands exactly what I want, consistently meeting (and often exceeding) my expectations. You can truly tell how passionate he is about his work. He’s very patient, attentive to details, and never rushes through the process. The staff member who washed my hair (I think his name is Leo) was also wonderful, very professional and made the whole experience incredibly relaxing, almost like a head spa. Overall, such a great experience every time!

Sam has been my hairstylist for over 4 years now and I can’t imagine going anywhere else!!! He continues to provide amazing, quality work for a great price too! I always leave the salon with the most perfect, silky blowout; it’s my favorite part of the appointment because I’ve never been able to achieve the same result on my own. Sam is incredible at replicating the exact shade you want and he also has a lot of color theory knowledge (knowing what compliments your skin tone, fixing discoloration, etc.) — I fully trust him and his opinion! I don’t keep up with my roots as much as I should, which makes blonde so much harder to process, and I’ve been to other salons that scold and judge me for it, but Sam always gets the job done so well despite the challenge and he’s very understanding. He has my exact shade down to a tee and I can tell that he and his team really care about the health of my hair. They are so thorough, precise, and accommodating. They always provide multiple layers for me to wear to ensure my clothes don’t get bleached or that I get effected by the many rounds of product/washing; they go lengths to protect my skin and ears from bleach and generously apply different products to prevent damage to my hair (scalp oil/cream, ear covers, hair protectant/serums, the works!); and they routinely check in throughout the appointment to make sure I’m doing ok, even so much as bringing me cups of water to help me through the long process. If you also have naturally black hair and go blonde, you know that it’s not an easy journey LOL but this salon always does me right! Efficient, consistent, and excellent!!! *please ignore my dead ends…Sam always tells me that he wants to clean it up a little and I always say no bc I hate cutting my hair even if it’s as good as gone, but he totally respects my decision even tho he may not agree! **also my ends could be sm worse, but like I said, they take REALLY good care of my hair ***but yea focus on the color, the ends are my choice :D

Best hair Salon in all of the East Village. They're affordable for simple hair styles. And their hair color styles and prices are amazing. Sam the owner is a great stylist. And Kelly is also amazing stylist. Came to this hair salon about 6 years ago and I still love it like it was day 1.

Yesterday I came in for a brown-pink hair color. Stylist Sam said he needed to bleach my hair first, and he ended up bleaching it to a very light level. I had already told him in advance that I had to leave by a certain time, and he said it was no problem. But when I was rushing to my evening appointment, the final color turned out gray,completely different from what I asked for. He blamed it on “not having enough time,” but if time was an issue, he should have told me beforehand. And if time was tight, he should not have spent so long bleaching my hair to such a light level. Poor time management and judgment should not become the customer’s burden to bear. Today I had to come back again, and it took two more color applications just to achieve the shade I originally wanted. I’m honestly very upset… Please don’t go to Sam. Thanks to Sunny for helping with my hair and he is great. Update：My hair is damaged and breaking because of the bleaching. The color is not what I requested at all, and I paid $400 for this service. This result is unacceptable.
