What a great find. Luke was our server. He had tables inside and outside the restaurant including the bar area. He was attentive and fantastic. The sushi chefs were amazing as they continuously worked patiently and gracefully without skipping a beat throughout the evening. The sushi was delicious and the sake we ordered, Brooklyn Kura paired so elegantly with every dish. The restaurant is located on busy Delancey Street, but well worth the experience.

Stopped by Douska and tried the Spicy Tuna Avocado Roll and the I Love New York Roll—both were really good. The fish was super fresh, and you could tell everything was made to order. Definitely a solid spot if you're craving fresh, tasty sushi.

I love the handroll focus of this place. Every item came out with perfectly crispy nori and super fresh fish. Some really fantastic flavor combinations - pastrami style trout, Hamachi with black truffle, tuna and foie gras.

We had the omakase which was super good! We were able to ask them to leave out a specific fish which was so accommodating. Chill vibe, playing west coast 90s/aughts bangers, and attentive and quick service. They have a big sake selection with descriptions, so it was easy to choose something new that was awesome.

came in here to use the restroom but i at least wanted to buy smth to be a paying customer. cheapest item was edamame $7, so we went with that. we tried asking about other menu items but they didn’t understand so we were left to google as an answer. when we went to order a hand roll we were told we’re supposed to to order before 10pm.. it says douska after hours 10pm-2am. it was overall confusing. then when going to pay the lady said it was a 10$ minimum.. everyone knows they make that up for their tax cut, and nowhere did it say on a sign that theres a minimum with card. luckily we had cash but they missed out on the opportunity of a tip.. why have an item for 7$ if its a 10$ minimum? just make it 10$ lol. took pics to show that nowhere does it say a minimum. staff was nice but if there was more clarification then it would be a better experience. even for the edamame i asked what it comes with, he said salt and its sweet sugar?
