Dr. Allen J. Fishman, MD

I have been going to Dr Fishman for decades I think he's a great doctor but his admin staff is either overworked or incompetent They either dont pick up the phone or put you on hold for over 10 minutes. It's then impossible to get an appointment. Time to find a new doctor

I had my glasses made with Dr. Fishman's prescription and the prescription was bad. When I went to his office, he did a new exam and the prescription was totally different. He told me that maybe it was because of the sugar he had changed my eye prescription and I don't have sugar. The doctor wrote a bad prescription, I lost my money and no one gave me any advice, neither him nor any of his technicians, nor the office workers who are terrible.

Need to wait for a long time to see the doctor. Doctor and Staff need to learn how to do their job in a timely manner. My appointment was 12:15 while I reached before the appointment time ; now , 1:43 pm still I have nit seen the doctor. Very frustrated , going to late for work. Please value the time.

If I could give this place zero stars I absolutely would I cannot speak about the doctors bedside manner because I never even got to keep my appointment. My $$$ would be much better spent somewhere they’d treat their patients with respect. I had a 2:45 PM appointment the nasty assistant called me at 2:00 to scream at me over the phone to find out where I was with my “son”. After I told her it was a she I proceeded to explain to her like a normal human being that my appointment was at 2:45 and I had 45 minutes to get there. She pulled the phone away and went into a nasty rant in Dominican slang, so disrespectful, I can’t imagine how anyone could even live their life that way; must be really miserable, I replied to her in Spanish. If you have a problem with waiting for me to be at my appointment at the time honored, do something to fix it. You could ask the doctor to wait if there aren’t any other patients or you could reschedule me. She proceeded to tell me I “better” be there by 2:30 because the doctor had no more patients. Obviously, I can’t imagine any patients that would want to go there. I called my primary physician right away for another doctor that will see us. Called back and cancelled, for Reason: I said doctors staff. I doubt they’d actually write that in their notes. Keep your dignity people, go somewhere else.

Very very bad and rude, no respect staffs. They postponed my 3 appointments and took 6 month and still calling to postponed, i cancelled. I dont know why they are doing it, may be due to my insurance. No star
